These are the best fitting running pants I have ever owned. They fit more like a pant instead of a tight. They are my go-to for more than just exercise.

Love the fit, but especially the zipper pockets. Cannot find those anymore. Pricing is good.

These pants tick all of my boxes that I look for in my running pants. Light for morning summer runs. Zippered pockets yo hold my IPhone and zippered ankles. I have a bunch!!

I wanted pants for running, exercising, lounging around the house, and running errands. Check! These work for all activities. I'm 5'4". Nothing is made to fit me. These work. They're not too long in the legs and the waist doesn't ride too high. They have a relaxed fit; they fit close, but not too tight. After wearing the first pair, I bought 2 more.

Nice lightweight pant for my sons track season. Seem to be holding up well.

The Spartan pant is by far and away the best fitting Brooks track pant that I have ever worn. the fit and feel is superior, and the fabrication is also first-rate. I am very pleased with these; so much so that I immediately purchased 2 more pairs!

I purchased a small size and it fits perfectly. These are comfortable pants for cold weather. The fabric is great for running and before/after run stretches.

These are great pants for running on cool days; for me, down to 20F (-7C). The fit is definitely trim, just slightly more baggy than tights. The fabric has great stretch that I really notice doing dynamic stretches. At 6'2" / 180bls (1.88m / 82kg), the Medium is a good fit; 1-2" above my ankle.

Finally, pants that fit smaller people. I am 5'7 and 150 pounds, these pants are perfect!! I bought last year's ones, and they are too long. Thank you!!

I've always used running tights for fall and winter. I was hesitant to try running pants because i wasn't sure it would feel right. I was wrong. These are the first and objectively the best running pants I've worn. The fit is amazing, especially how it tapers down to the ankles without being too tight and i love the side pockets that are deep enough for my big samsung galaxy phone. I will be getting more of these. (Haven't taken these out on a run yet but i am confident they'll make me happy. Will update this review if i feel otherwise)

Quality pants, they may run a bit on the narrow side. Very comfortable and lightweight.

The pants are great and probably deserve a 5-star rating, but the zipper pockets can be a bit painful when reaching for a phone, etc. It would be great to have a zipper on one side and an open pocket on the other. I keep my phone in the pants pocket and grab it to change podcasts, check how I'm doing on Strava, etc. so the teeth in the zipper are a bit annoying. I ordered a XL instead of 2XL because I like the pants to be tight; it is really annoying for them to slip! The Spartan Pant in XL was perfect for me, especially with that criterion.

I bought a pair of these pants a year ago (12/2023), and they have been great. So, a few weeks ago, I bought a pair of the Spartan 2.0 pants. Unfortunately, the waist is much larger, and the drawstring isn't installed correctly. The ends need to cross within the waistband in order for a drawstring to work well in pants with an over-sized waist. So, I bought another pair of these older version Spartans, hoping they would be just like the ones I bought a year ago. Unfortunately, the waist is much larger, like the Spartan 2.0s. But, at least the drawstring is installed correctly, so they are usable.

Great running/ hiking pants. Love the fit and zip pockets. They are a bit thicker than I was expecting so will use them more in the cooler months.

The Spartan pant is a comfortable, well made garment with some welcome ergonomic features like leg zippers and pockets. I especially like the way the waistband and cinch is constructed. There is no reflective material on these pants whatsoever.

Overall, nice pants! I?m a little ?fuller? in the butt and thighs - and these pants fit perfectly there. They are a little more tapered in the calf area for my taste and that?s why I knocked off one star. (You may like the taper just fine.)

These are just what I like in running pants. Good fit. Lightweight. Good moisture wicking. I wish the zippers were on the side of the leg instead of the back but they otherwise work well. Having side pockets to keep my belongings is a feature I like.

I have several pairs of this pant purchased over the last five years. It is my opinion that the sizes run smaller now. I purchased two pairs in the last month and had to return them do to size. And NO my weight has not changed.
