I use these inside of my Hestra gloves for added warmth.

Gloves are great as liners for ski gloves. Only one suggestion for improvement for durability - please consider finishing all fingers with the finish used for the index finger.

My partner and I wear these liners under our riding gloves (snowboarders) and have purchased a new pair each season. The finger tips wear through pretty easily, but honestly, we love semi-fingerless gloves. This season they feel a half size larger.

Light and works well as a liner. Material feels somewhat cheap but is still good for the price. Fits comfortably overall but finger length is a bit long. Touchscreen compatibility is surprisingly good but typing with thumb is made difficult by extra material.

I bought these to replace a much loved pair of smart wool gloves that i lost and thought i'd give these a try. Initially i was impressed with their thickness and material, but after a couple of months of wear I'm underwhelmed. While they are a decent thickness they don't trap much warmth (I wore them out walking and running ( 20 degrees, no wind) and my hands were frozen after just 10 mins). I also agree with what other reviews have pointed out in that the "touch screen" fingertips are actually kind of hard to use accurately and i find the fingers are a bit too big (despite being a small) so there's a lot of excess fabric that bunches at the end of my finger, making it even harder to use with my phone. TLDR; They are fine for everyday but wouldn't call on them for extreme winter weather.

These are great for covering exposed skin in cold weather. I no longer have to use handwarmers and I can layer with these. Most often used skiing with another mitten on top. I like being able to take my mittens off and just have the gloves on and still be able to use my hands. However, the fabric does feel like it is deteriorating rather quickly and I am not too impressed with the durability

I had my old pair for years. I commute by bicycle, but a couple days ago we had a windchill into -24F. So I ride shared home, and somehow between having them in my hands in the car and my apartment door, I lost them. The new ones are fine. The old pair were lovely, warm, soft, thick-knit but not bulky. The new ones show skin through the thin knit when flexing (as if gripping a handlebar). They're coarse. I'm a little ashamed to admit I cried a little after putting them on, but at least they're gloves.

My husband is 'scanner' at a ski mountain in NH. Thought these gloves would be great protection from the cold while also letting him scroll on his scanner. The fingertips wear out and get holes. Quickly. He sews them and keeps them going as long as he can.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Overall they do fit a need but lack the quality of years past. Wear out quickly.

Good quality and feel. Fingertips feel very boxy and a loose overall fit

For a glove liner, I was surprised of the thickness, not what I expected.

I used the Size Guide to order the glove liners. Initally ordered Medium but the fingers were too long. Then ordered Small. Fingers are now the correct length, but overall the liners are quite snug. Guess I have short fingers.

Not what I was looking for, but probably would work well inside heavier mittens.

The material on these gloves feels really stiff and coarse. Hopefully they soften up over time and with use. Other than that, they keep my hands decently warm and work with a smartphone screen. #sweepstakes

The gloves are good, but they are not as warm as I would have liked. I use them under other gloves and my hands are still cold. They fit good and they look good.

I am returning these gloves because they are too large, especially in the finger length. I also think they are rather thick for liner gloves but I was not able to test them out. Evidently there is no distinction between male and female sizes so a medium might fit a male but not very many women. I see that many other reviewers have raised the size issue. Sorry I did not pay better attention to those reviews.

Well made, just wish the fingers on the large were larger diameter, very skinny

I bought these cause I love everything Smartwool! I am so disappointed to saybut not these. I was hoping it really would work while using my gloves, but it does not! Nice liners but I wanted for my phone use.

The touch screen function does not work, so unfortunately I have to take them off to text.

I've found that the quality of Smartwool gloves has diminished over the years. The base of the finger slots in these gloves is knitted straight across, not curved like a normal human hand. The webbing between the ring and pinky finger is therefore much too high.

I had bought some Smartwool liners before that were soft and true to size. These ones were marked small, and the hand size was small but the fingers were 1/2" too long.

To thick to fit inside a glove. That was the purpose of purchasing

I have a pair of these from 2 years ago and received the same ones as a gift (Dec 2023). The new ones are not as soft and feel cheap. Again, where is the wool?
