I use this mostly as a liner glove for extra warmth when I am cycling. It's very warm and works on touch screens. They look good too.

The gloves are good, but they are not as warm as I would have liked. I use them under other gloves and my hands are still cold. They fit good and they look good.

I'm an avid long distance runner who always has cold hands. I usually wear 2 or 3 pair of layered gloves to keep my hands warm or else use hand warmers during the winter. So far with these gloves as my base layer I have not needed hand warmers or even a third pair of gloves in the cold damp PNW winter mornings. They do seem to run a little big though.

I am returning these gloves because they are too large, especially in the finger length. I also think they are rather thick for liner gloves but I was not able to test them out. Evidently there is no distinction between male and female sizes so a medium might fit a male but not very many women. I see that many other reviewers have raised the size issue. Sorry I did not pay better attention to those reviews.

Good enough, but I find the fit a little funky.

I wear these as regular gloves and they are usually warm enough for Seattle on dry days. It is no a stretch to use these as liners but they are thicker than my image of a liner. The 150gm lightweight line beanie is a very lightweight hat suitable for mild temps or used as a liner under my heavier Smartwool hat. These gloves are sturdy all on their own and feel well made. They are very snug fitting so could be a great glove under an uninsulated waterproof mitten or shell.

I'm not the best person to review this item since I've not put them to their use. I presently wear Smartwool glove liners when skiing and they work very well for me. I expect these to work as well.

These were a welcome bonus gift during Black Friday sales. Always nice to have a spare set of smartwool gloves! Best for temps 30 and above. #sweepstakes

I use more for a regular light glove for when the weather is just slightly cooler and I am walking the dog or getting in and out of my car. Pros are that they are warm enough for that purpose and fit in my purse easily. Cons are that they aren't warm enough to really use as a glove substitute and I feel are a little thick for use as a liner. That said, on freezing days I have fit them under recycled wool/ fleece mittens for snowshoeing and my hands stayed very toasty.

As a liner I supposed this glove is good but it seems a little thick for its intended purpose. I use these for a light glove I can keep in my purse or use when its not super cold when walking the dog and I appreciate that I can use my cell phone with the gloves on as well.

I wear these gloves year round. Well not in the summer but when it gets below zero I just wear them under mittens. They last about three years then the fingers fray. But we'll worth the money because they are the only gloves I go to. They are long so you don't get cold wrists. Have given them as gifts and loved by all. Surprise bonus the now are screen sensitive on the tips. So happy to have the smaller size as it's hard to find

Love the glove liner. They have really helped to keep my fingers warmer than the gloves alone. Lost one glove already. Will order a new pair very soon!

This is my second pair. My first lasted me over a year and a half and I wore them mostly on the bike as both a liner for the winter in my cold-weather gloves and by themselves in the spring time when I needed a little warmth. I have bought LOTS of cycling specific gloves, but these were the workhorse the last couple years...and the thumbs started wearing out, so I needed a new pair! And they are my back and forth driving to work glove as well...

Gloves fit great and are nice and thin to allow dexterity. Unfortunately after about 2 weeks of use they have fur balls all over them. They look like I have had them for years after only two weeks of use.

I bought these with winter running in mind, but I found that they served as great everyday winter gloves. I live in Chicago, and these worked for typical winter conditions (in the 15-45 degree range). I just lost my pair of 2+ years in the back of a cab, so I'm happily buying another pair. They work GREAT for texting. They're the most precise touchscreen gloves I've ever used.

Smartwool liner gloves have been my go-to winter glove for around a decade. They are surprisingly warm (they compare well to gloves that are considerably more bulky for heat retention), are very soft, aesthetically simple, pack down small and are fairly durable. The touchscreen fingers work without flaw. They're basically perfect for winter running, use around town, packing for unknown conditions when traveling, winter cycling, or as a liner under another breathable glove. They will tend to tear at the point between the thumb and pointer finger with enough use and/or wear out at the contact point on the finger tips, but are also fairly easy to repair with a bit of matching thread to extend the glove lifespan. I consider these to be in the small circle of essential and unique objects that I use daily and think highly enough of that I would attempt to save them directly after grabbing the pets in event of a house fire.

Smartwool Liner Gloves are great knit gloves! These gloves are warm down to low temps while providing a tech friendly knit surface on the fingertips. I have small hands, so being able to order my size and have knit gloves that fit, without droopy fingertips, is super nice! If you're a fan of the knit glove, try these Smartwool Glove Liners!

Good as a glove to use alone or under other gloves mittens. I did give the pair four, rather than five, stars as I feel that the construction of this pair is much thicker than the other two pairs I've purchased over the years. Although some might want a thicker glove liner, I find they are a bit bulky. Keeping them as I do love Smartwool glove liners!

Size M, which I usually wear in clothing, is too big. I only realized that after wearing them and couldn't return. I'd go for a more snug fit.

Good quality gloves and perfect thickness to line my ski gloves. The only issue I have with these is that the finger length is too long, but I have short fingers. Will be keeping them as they feel fine inside my ski gloves.
