I had my old pair for years. I commute by bicycle, but a couple days ago we had a windchill into -24F. So I ride shared home, and somehow between having them in my hands in the car and my apartment door, I lost them. The new ones are fine. The old pair were lovely, warm, soft, thick-knit but not bulky. The new ones show skin through the thin knit when flexing (as if gripping a handlebar). They're coarse. I'm a little ashamed to admit I cried a little after putting them on, but at least they're gloves.

My husband is 'scanner' at a ski mountain in NH. Thought these gloves would be great protection from the cold while also letting him scroll on his scanner. The fingertips wear out and get holes. Quickly. He sews them and keeps them going as long as he can.

Purchased these as a Christmas present for my mom, who is a petite lady. Purchased the extra-small size, and they literally fit her like a glove - she is extremely happy with the gloves. So much so, in fact, that I purchased her a pair in navy as well (a couple of weeks after Christmas)

I wear these gloves alone on days that are moderately cool not frigid. I have some older smart wool gloves that are in need of repair. I find the older gloves to be softer than the new ones and like them better. Not sure if you have changed the materials used ?

I carry these around in my jacket pocket starting in the fall because you never know when it will be chilly enough to make you wish you had a pair. They don't take up much space but are surprisingly warm when the need arises. They fit well and are very comfortable.

Nice simple knit gloves. Never tried them inside another glove as a liner. Would have to be a much larger outer glove. Good as a stand alone thin outer glove.

Purchased these specifically for range of motion walking the dog on cool days. Not intended to thwart arctic chill. Just right for 30+ degrees. Breathable and comfortable with all thx manual dexterity I was hoping for.

These are the best all purpose gloves! I keep a pair in each of my coats. They are great to use with my camera & binoculars. If really cold(0-20 degrees), I just put another pair over them.

Very pleased with these - wear alone on lighter weather days or under other gloves when super cold great looks!

I wear these under other mitts when I'm out shoveling or walking the dog.

Nice warm glove for running and day-to-day wear, sufficient down to 30F temps. Good as a liner within a glove/mitten on colder days. I have only had them a couple of weeks and so far they are holding up well - I hope they continue to! #sweepstakes

We live in Rochester, NY where it gets cold. I use them under my mittens and they work great to keep my hands toasty warm! When I need to pull off my mitten to do something that requires dexterity, my hand is still covered! I also use them under mittens when I ski. They wash great and last for years.....until one gets lost. I just gave a pair to our daughter for the same reason but she lives in NYC and says they are nice enough to wear as an outer glove. She says that the finger "dot" works the best of any she has ever had with her cell phone. They are sized unisex so I wear a Medium (Glove Size 8 1/2) and our daughter wears a Large (Glove Size 10).

These are excellent insulation inside other gloves or mittens! Because they are wool knit, they trap warm air and keep my hands comfortably warm. If I need better dexterity than my mittens allow, I can remove the mittens and keep my hands warm!

Soft material and keeps hands warm. I use it for walks and jogging. The thumb finger doesn't work well with touch screens. I have to angle my thumb presses for my phone to register the tap. The index finger works fine.

Fantastic product, perfect weight for liners, but a great glove just for running in the cold. The fabric/wool is amazingly soft....love Smartwool
