I was looking for a shoe that could accommodate my bunion and this was not it. It does not have as deep a toe box as the moab and pressed right on it.

So comfortable, I bought another pair in a different color. I love Merrell shoes, I own 8 pairs in different styles. You can't go wrong with these shoes!

Great shoes. I found them to be super comfortable from day one and with good traction. I wear them to walk trails and took them to Zion and Bryce last Fall. They kept my feet warm and dry.

Ugly but…. Right outta the box, these shoes are magic. I’ve only had them two days but I’ve hiked about 12 miles in them. No pain (that’s saying something with my old feet!), no rubbing, no heal slipping, no hot spots. I was in some pretty wet stuff for close to half of my miles and my feet stayed dry!

Really like this Gore-Tex. It is light, very well made and is comfortable either on a slope or walking around.

These Moab Speed Gore-Tex were a gift for my wife. She has another pair of Moab's which are a heaver model. The gift was a hit and she loves them. They offer superior support and cushion in a much lighter package. Hence the name Speed is well represented in this version. She recommend them to our daughters who each purchased a pair and are excited to put some miles on them. Will put them to use as soon as Spring hits.

I bought these for walking in winter because they were waterproof. I find I wear them consistently for walking in a muddy, sometimes cold park. I also wear them when I work at my friend's cat rescue twice a week. They fit with "hot feet" inserts, and thicker sock-keeping my feet warm and dry!

Once again Merrell delivers. I've owned the brand for about 20 yrs. Consistently great for my special feet. Moab Speed Gore-Tex will take me hiking .. in style in my north Ga. mountains. Good traction. Foot doesn't slide around. Great comfort in bed and sole. Waterproof with bellows.

Worked great hiking in a rainy Volcanoes National Park. Feet stayed dry, and provided great stability on the trails.

I bought these for my mom. She normally wears size 8 and I bought half size bigger but she complains it small. She cannot wear thick socks with these. Size up! These helped her thru a famous seashore hike in Asia.

This is my second year in a pair of Moab Speed Gore-Tex. I live in the Pacific Northwest and go hiking or urban hiking four to five times a week, so I need comfortable shoes that will keep my feet dry. These 100% do the trick. They're comfortable out of the box, and my feet stay dry even hiking in downpours. I hope I'll still be able to get a new pair next year!

Awesome supportive shoe . I take a size 8 - The Merrel sizing -US size 7.5 is a European 38 which usually is a US size 8 so ordered a half size smaller - the 7.5 fits perfect!

Stomped through the Mighty 5 natl parks in these shoes and was thankful every day for them as I walked right up Aztec Butte at Canyonlands, hiked out to arches, and walked right up angels landing at Zion National Park in them. They grip the ground so well for going up 1400 ft elevation and are so comfortable. You won't regret these.

First of all I buy 2 different sizes of Merrels because I have a smaller, deformed foot and this brand works for me, it gets expensive but it works. These are my first pair of waterproof shoes, and they really are as I tested them on the Oregon coast and hunting beach rocks on the Washington coast. Wow, completely waterproof up until the waves finally caught me and went up and over! The other part I needed was the vibram soles, I'm finding they are more and more important the older I get, and these shoes stuck like glue to those slippery rocks! I highly recommend the shoes and I highly recommend the brand.

Love these shoes so much! Very comfortable! They are my go to shoe for walking, hiking, concerts, shopping Disneyland, anywhere I'm on my feet a long time. They have a great support system with the footbed, and the overall structure of the shoe! I like the gortex because it adds a little more thickness to upper shoe material as I'm rough on shoes! My feet don't ache after wearing these. Also the traction is wonderful, they don't slip on loose terrain and walking over larger rocks is pretty secure footing too. I have the red pair and they are fashionable too!
