Best pair of light weight hiking shoes. The stretch function really works. You may initially want a shoehorn handy. After a few hikes, you'll think they are part of your feet. I do a lot of hiking and this is my 4th pairwell done.

Love the new Chameleon 8's! They seem lighter and more comfortable than past ones I've had for some reason.

This is my 6th pair of Chameleons. I swear by them, Nothing is more comfortable when hiking or long treks in the city or country, than the Chameleons.

These are absolutely the best sport shoe available. I've worn the Chameleon Stretch in all of its adaptations and have found them to be true to the original. I walk in these shoes daily for exercise and they are very comfortable through multi mile hikes. They are dry and true to fit.

Most comfortable hiking shoe ever, on my third pair and been wearing them since they were introduced. This shoe and the vented moc slide sold me on the Merrell brand for life. Love your shoes.

We went hiking in Sedona and Grand Canyon. These shoes are sturdy and comfortable.

This will make my 3rd pair they just fit and i like the look.

Bottom line, I was very very nervous to get these shoes. I just wasn't sure how they would fit with my feet being since my legs and feet have a bad tendency to swell up bad and this started this last year as well as painful neuropathy along with it. And with everything I just said I am so glad I picked the shoes these are by far my absolute favorite shoe that I've owned from Merrell and I'm a diehard Merrell user through the past 12 years and you guys have never let me down I mean on the trail and off the trail but as far as the shoes I love the souls have the right amount of grip and hardness for everything I can throw at them and like always with vibram very comfortable it's hard not to take the shoes off. There was no break in period right out of the box there was the right amount of flex with no cutting into my toes. The breathability of the shoe is amazing. Not having a tongue in the shoe was a little weird at first but after the first few hours wasn't noticeable and I actually prefer it without one now. I know it probably went on too long there's stuff that's probably left out regardless this is an amazing shoe and thanks Merrell for The quality of life you have given back to me.

I've been a Chameleon Stretch fan and owner of several generations for almost 20 years. The Chameleon 8 model didn't disappoint! Comfort, durability, reliability. Actually, one of your best iterations on a classic. Keep 'em coming!

Third pair of chameleons in the last several years. By far some of the most comfortable durable footwear I've owned.

Great hikers. I bought two pair, waterproof and non waterproof. Non waterproof are a bit more comfortable.

Most comfortable pair of shoes ever! I roughly walk 15k-20k steps a day, and have bought 2 pairs of these shoes every year for the past 15 years.

This is my first pair of hiker shoes like this. They were comfortable out of the box and I did an 8 mile hike on day one with no issues. They are holding up well I have roughly 200 miles on them now. I'm anticipating 500-750 before they are worn out. I really like the laces I'm not sure what they are called but they are easy to use. Overall I am pleased with the quality vs. cost of the shoes.

My husband still does physical work around his shop and on his semis and tankers he is also a diabetic so we take very good care of his health and feet of course !!! These shoes have exceeded his needs ! Thank you Merrell

Very comfortable shoes. I wear size 11 and these fit perfect. If you tuck the laces down into the laces themselves, they stay out of the way. Great shoes with tons of grip!

I normally wear 11 1/2 Medium. That's what I ordered and the fit is perfect. I ordered black. They have a slight "midnight blue" hue, but with a little dust and wear I don't even notice it anymore. These things slip on quick and easy. They are like wearing a moccasin on a running shoe sole. Unmatched for comfort. I wear for LE/Investigative work. I have them on for 10-12 hours at a time. I intend to buy these again and again, until they stop production. Also, thanks to Merrell for the first responder discount. It really makes for a tremendous value. I used to wear Danner Acadia and Nike Special Duty boot. Danner got too expensive for my taste and the politics at Nike are a no-go for me. Merrell all the way!
