This is my new favorite shoe. I mostly walk and hike, and the thicker, more textured sole is great for uneven surfaces. I'm also in the field a lot for photography, and this will do as just a good all-around hiking shoe. The firm footbed also works for me. Love it.

Perfect shoe, not only for running but for your every day I've found! Did I mention, good traction? Even in the snow! Love these!!!

I bought this shoe in a wide width after struggling to fit my beefy orthotics into different shoes, including the regular width of this shoe. This does the trick! This shoe handles well in all types of trail conditions from rocky to mud. Downside: the wide model is only available in limited colors. It's not a dealbreaker, but there are some colors available in the regular width that would be more desirable than the available colors.

This shoe has a wonderful fit and feel for my exercise walking, photo hikes, and around town. Looks great as well and just ordered a second pair.

LOVED LOVED LOVED these shoes. And I am very picky. This is my 1st pair of dedicated trail shoes. I usually just run trail in my older road shoes. I have long (Women's 10), narrow, flattish, feet and these fit me very well. Plenty of room in the toe-box, but not too much and they tighten up well with the laces. The sole is stiff enough for rocky trail, but not so stiff that I couldn't "feel" the ground below me. I loved running in Brooks transcends for road....haven't found a new road shoe I like yet. I ran over wet pine-needles, old asphalt, damp grass, slick clay, and rocky gravel. These shoes did not slip once. Also shoes don't feel heavy. I hope Brooks doesn't change them or discontinue them like they tend to do with shoes I love. I will likely order another pair or two just in case.

Needed a shoe wide enough to not hurt my aging feet. Shoe gives support but does not crowd my feet. I've worn Brooks since 2014. I've been pleased with the quality.

I absolutely love my Brooks Cascadia 16!! I will definitely buy another pair!

These shoes are cute, comfortable, and seem to be good quality. I run 4 miles 4-5 days a week, followed by an hour if wieght lifting. I have had these for about 2 months and they seem great. I have significant back problems and I can run pain fee in these. Excellent. They also look just like the photo. True to size and not narrow.

These are by far my favorite in many years. Please don't change them :)

I own several Brooks shoes but not Brooks hiking shoes. I got this for Christmas from my daughter. I went on several hikes in Kauai. They are absolutely so comfortable. I only wear Brooks at work but now I know Brooks are also a must for hiking!

They feel wonderful on my feet, and they keep ankles from buckling. Also the toe box is wide enough for my little toes to not get so banged up.

So comfortable! Best shoes ever! I will never buy another brand!

I confess that as an 80-something with lung disease, I don't really do a lot of running, but I try to get out and walk some of the many hiking trails in our Pacific Northwest. And my Brooks Cascadia 16 shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn. A big plus for me is the stability they offer so that I can walk with confidence.
