The Ghost 14 simply did not measure up to the 12 or 13. Remarkable difference in the initial comfort and support. So disappointed in the change to the style, comfort and support.

Been wearing the Ghost for many years... Now having worn them for about a week, I can safely say these might be my least favorite. I have extremely high arches and my arches ache by the end of the day in these shoes, even with my orthotic insole. After I fixed the laces to accommodate my arch, they bubble out on the sides instead of being formed to my foot like other past Ghost did. I also don't find these to be nearly as cushy. Should have stuck with the 13s.

As usual,I buy Brooks Ghost shoes, size 8.5 wide, for comfort and support. However, this version, Ghost 14, seems narrower than usual. It’s a bit tight through the toes. I hope Brooks can do something about this because these shoes are practically the only thing I wear.

I love the Brooks Ghost 13, but the Ghost 14 is not the same. Not sure what they did differently but these were much stiffer, not as flexible and actually hurt the ball of my foot. Pretty but returning for Ghost 13’s.

For me the 14 is a definite step down in comfort from the 13. Even in a wide (which I need for bunions), the shoe pinched, and the sole is firmer and less cushioned than the 13. Disappointing.

I have worn Brooks for years, mainly the Adrenaline shoe, and thought I'd try the Ghost. I marked that they were true to width because they weren't real tight, but these were just a little tight across the widest part of my foot and my little toe seemed cramped so they went back to Zappo's. It's surprising that the same company's shoes don't have similar fits. I'm back to the Adrenaline.

I have worn the ghost 13's and absolutely loved them. Now I can no longer get them so I tried, twice 6 months apart, to go with the ghost 14's. They are more narrow and do not have the comfort as the 13's. I thought I would wear them and try and "break the in" but my feet still hurt. Wearing the 13's felt like walking on air and instant comfort and fit. I will now go to a totally different shoe. It is not just the size that's different, it is the comfort. My feet actually hurt worse at the end of the day. PLEASE BRING BACK GHOST 13'S!!!!!

I LOVE Brooks. I have severe Plantar Fasciitis and depend on a good "running shoe" for my daily long walks (3-4 miles) and general living. I need to replace my shoes every 8 months (per podiatrist), and obviously went back to Zappos for my most recent purchase, but didn't see the right model number, so I hopped on the Ghost 14 because it was the most popular AND was on sale. My mistake. These are very stiff and do not have enough comforting support for me. My last purchase was the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22. I may have to go directly to the source for them, but they are definitely worth the difference ($40)

I have worn this shoe for many years, I buy a new pair every year for walking. But they made changes to the 14. I get foot bruising I never did before in the ball of my foot. The tongue is different so the shoe fits differently, never feels like its tied properly now, despite attempting several different ways of doing it. The shoe lost support quickly. Not happy, please revert back to the way it was before Brooks!!

Heel changed drastically from the 13. These shoes instantly changed my gate and caused knee pain

I love Brooks. I have worn them for over ten years, and I buy a new pair every two to three months to keep up with my running. These shoes are so cute, and I loved the color, but they are SO SMALL compared to usual! They hurt my feet in every single way. Sometimes shoes need one workout to break them in. I tried them yesterday and my feel hurt the entire workout. I put them on this morning, and they were just as painful, so I grabbed my other Brooks and took them for a five mile run, instead of my new Brooks. These are going back, unfortunately. I even loosened the laces until I could make them comfortable, and I did not have enough lace to tie my shoes.

Shoes were disappointing. Wore them 4 times and the shoe laces started to tear. Cheap shoe laces for such an expensive shoe. Called Brooks trying to get replacement laces. They do not provide. Suggested I return shoes if I am unhappy. So I am returning to Zappos where I purchased them.

They felt very bulky on my feet, even though I have the same size as the ones I bought last year.

Downfalls of buying sneakers online. I specifically purchase brooks as they have great arch support and prevents China sponge from occurring. These unfortunately did nothing to prevent them. My last pair of brooks are Over a year old and support wear down over time. These brand new ones have less support than my year old ones. Shame that I have to wear and use the shoe once before knowing how bad it really was I’ll never do that again. Waste of $150

I have this same shoe with a mesh material and it fits much better than this shoe with a cloth material. This one feels larger.

Initially these shoes felt good, but the toe box is so much tighter than previous Ghost models that they began to rub my bunions to the point of bad joint pain. Sadly, I am returning.

I had the ghost 12 for two years and LOVED how supportive they were. I thought I will be trading up with these, but I was so wrong. There’s still decent sneakers but after being spoiled by the ghost 12 I just had to return them. They didn’t hug my foot in the same way.

I dislike that Brooks keeps changing their shoes. I loved the Ghost 12 it was perfect in every way! Then along comes Ghost 13 and 14 the tongue hits my ankle and the toe box is different, I have purchased both of the 13 and 14 but I don’t really like them even the foot bed on the right shoe makes my arch hurt and 20 minutes. I think a poor quality running shoe also the tongue on the 14 I received was very stiff with No padding????

Love Brooks and have worn Glycerin's then Ghost. Have had every one since the 10's. These are the first pair that hurt my feet right out of the box and seem more narrow. I am going to try a half size up to see how that goes. I do love the Black /pink combination.

I've been buying Brooks athletic shoes for years. I usually buy the Addiction style tennis shoe, but it hasn't been available in some time. Instead I bought their Ghost style and it is much too short in length so will return. I usually wear a 9N, but need a 91/2N in this shoe.

These are typically my go-to purchase for walking/active shoes, however this particular purchase (Ghost 14) was very very uncomfortable - the first and only time I wore them. Not sure why, but they did not feel like my "old" version at all. I walked 2 miles and had to take them off due to arch pain and numbness.

I ordered my regular size and had high hopes for this sneaker but I felt sloppy on my foot too big and offered little support. I like Brooks and need more support for HIIT class, the moment I put this sneaker on I knew I could never wear it to class! Hopes dashed.

This makes me really unhappy......have now worn twice and will need to size down even tho I have been wearing a Brooks size 8 for at least 10 years. NOT happy.
