I am 78 with spinal stenosis and I also need a hip replacement. My physical medicine Dr. complimented my shoe choice Brooks Ghost, my orthopedist Dr. who has done studies on running and foot strike, said he recommends Brooks Ghost. My first pair of Ghost's were Ghost 12. I can wear a 9 or 91/2 but I prefer the 91/2 because It gives my toes more room and nowadays I can't always feel my toes. Brooks Ghost is also well padded and very supportive so that allows me to walk comfortably even with a bad hip. Long walks are my best form of exercise. Brooks Ghost has enabled my desire to stay active and healthy and allows me to maintain a positive attitude.

I am a Brooks fan through and through! This is probably my 20th pair in the last 10 years. They fit my slightly wide shoes the best of any athletic shoes on the market. Love all the colors!

These shoes fit perfectly and feel good. I did have to change the insole to one with more arch support. They are lightweight and look good.

I had to get the Ghost 14 in wide since the medium ran too narrow. The wide fits similar to the medium width in previous Ghost models and not sure why that has changed. This also limited the colors that were available but otherwise, all is good.

I love the Ghost 14!! It is by far the most comfortable sneaker I own (I now have 4 of them) and I have several pairs of sneakers. I hope Brooks will not eliminate this shoe. I have tried other styles and they just don't compare.

This shoe is a Dewan to wear, very comfortable. It runs narrow but I have a narrow foot so its great for me!!!

I usually wear an 11 but ordered a half size up and am really glad that I did--they would have been too short in my normal size. The styling is such that they don't look huge even in an 11.5 narrow. My orthotics fit nicely as well. These are the best shoes of this type that I've bought in years.

Brooks are the best shoes on the market. Don’t doubt it, just buy. They run a half size small all around or order a half size up.

The fit and comfort are AMAZING! As always, they make my feet "happy"! And the green shamrocks are so cute! Luv the holiday prints!!

Very nice and comfortable shoe. The color isn't "me", so am returning them but I have ordered a different color.

Been shopping for a walking shoe to accommodate planter fasciitis and arthritis pain. It was a close call between these and Dansko Pace, but these won out. I returned because I didn’t love the pink bottoms. Purchased a different color. They are very well made, have good heel support, my feet don’t slip around or slip out the back. They don’t make me lean back or propel forward. They are just right. I may add my inserts just for extra cushion. I usually wear size 11 leaning towards 10.5. Bought 11’s Women’s and these fit perfect. I was a faithful Brooks wearer in the 80’s when i used to be a runner so i trust they know what they’re doing with athletic wear.

I typically do not wear a wide in Brooks, but these 14s have a narrow toe box, so I had to go wide, just so my toes were not smashed when I run.

I've had Brooks for years. The Ghost 14 somehow fit my arch differently.

Love these shoes. I have been wearing Brooks running shoes for years. I have a very high arch and these have great support. They are true to size and beautiful to boot!

I couldn’t wait any longer on Brooks to release their adrenaline gts 22 so I ordered a pair of ghost 14, I also have a pair of ghost 13. The new ones are really comfortable. I have a wide foot and Brooks have been the only comfortable fit. Wish the wide shoes would be offered in more colors. My feet feel great after a run, no more plantar fasciitis!

I love Brooks Ghost shoes. This is my fourth pair, and they are fantastic for people with high arches who tend to walk on the outside of their feet.

I don't even know how many pair of Ghosts I have purchased. They are tried and true. I just wish they would expand the options for D width. I want the pretty colors.

Nice lightweight shoe. True to size, wide was nice and wide. Wish they had additional colors in wide.

The size 9 felt like a size 9 and was comfortable. The arch support is adequate not great. It is very well cushioned and soft but I may put in a superfeet insole and remove existing for firmer mid support. The toe box is roomy.. roomier than previous Ghost. It is fine since doesn’t look clownish and my high volume/ high arch foot is better with more toe room than less. Brooks are my favorite and this pair is very good.

Ghost has been my standard since Ghost 7. Ghost 14 has, as always with each number, a few minor differences. However, for me, the fit still remains excellent. The toe box is fine for me although I do not have wide feet. The support and cushioning are great for walking and working out. This round's laces aren't the greatest, in my opinion, but I also know where I can purchase different laces that work just fine. So... laces don't make a big difference to me. I will stay with Ghost unless any huge changes come in the future.

The narrow is a true fit, never have problems with the Brooks Ghost fit. I love the fit. Lots of padding, removable insole, my orthotics fit right in no problems.

I have a wide foot, neutral gait. I normally wear a size 7 1/2-8 shoe, but take an 8 1/2 in Brooks Ghost. My last two pair of fast walking shoes was the GHOST13, which I loved. The 14 is just what it advertises- a tad better fit in toe box and tad more cushion- love em’ even more! There are plenty of color options- but for me- not being a fan of pink on my shoes, or lots of black-took me awhile to settle on one- but fine with what I got- like a camo in blues.

The most comfortable Brooks upon initial try! I buy new Brooks Ghost size 8 every two months to keep up with my running and foot issues. For the past year or two, upon initially trying on my new sneaks, that first fit, I question if I should have gotten a wide shoe. I wear it around the house for an hour or two and then it feels fine, just like it needed to conform to me foot. This shoe? Upon initially putting it on, I felt like Cinderella! No need for it to conform-it fit perfectly-the way they always used to. Love, love, love these shoes!

These shoes fit perfectly. They are so comfortable you forget they are on your feet. I highly recommend them if you walk a lot.
