I loved my Ghost 13s and went through several pairs before they weren't available anymore. I was hoping for the same love with the 14s, but I returned them after just a few days. The shoe didn't feel as roomy; the toe box was quite a bit narrower and didn't fit as well. The bigger issue was that they just weren't as comfortable as the 13s. I walk 4 miles or more a day, and the 13s always felt like a dream. The 14s didn't.

This shoe is so inferior to the old Brooks Ghost I'm wearing. The tongue is too narrow to be comfortable. The materials used and the quality of manufacturing are poor. I'm going to find a better shoe.

The footbed was hard. There was no cushioning.
I'd also recommend:
Aasics has good cushioning, very comfortable.

The soles tore up on 2 diff pairs of shoes. Im not hard on my shoes and the rubber on the soles breaks off in multiple places. This is the first pair if brooks I have had this happen on.

For some reason this pair of ghost hurt my feet. Inside of left shoe big toe area it has a ridge that will irritate the toe while walking/running. Very disappointed with this shoe. First pair was amazing be this time around identical shoe not so good

Ghost keeps changing their shoe. This one is super stiff. Doesnt feel like any past Ghosts. I am going to try Hokas next.

I swear these shoes are a different version of cheaper Brooks like the Launch. I’m an avid runner & have have been wearing the Ghost for at least 10 years. I bought a pair 5 days before a marathon and had no issues. These are AWFUL. These are like running in cardboard & aggravated my Achilles tendinitis to the point I had to take a week off. The tongue is so stiff it & not close to being cushioned like my other Ghosts. I can’t wear these shoes.

I have always bought the Brooks Ghost. The last pair that fit really well was the Ghost 13 in a size 7. The Ghost 14 was a bust. The size 7 was too small and the size 7.5 was too big. It seems that every time they move to the next Ghost, the fit is not the same. I'm very disappointed in the Ghost 14. It seems that quality control is lacking.

I’ve worn brooks for many years now and have had the ghost many times as well. Got these and while they are cute something has changed. The heel is wide and so my foot is moving around too much side to side. This caused huge issue with my plantar fasciitis. Took me months to figure out what was causing since I have custom inserts I use. I finally went back to my old brooks and immediately could tell the difference. I don’t run but use to workout, walk, and wear around the house due to my feet. Pretty disappointed since I wore and took me awhile to figure it out. Love the style and colors

I always loved brooks and get an 8 everytime. This time these shoes are so uncomfortable I've already decided I'm not wearing them to Disney. Not sure what the difference was this time but I can't wear them.

This is my 4th pair of Brooks & I'm disappointed as they don't feel the same as my others. I have never had to break in my others & these seem to rub my right big toe & makes the pain unbearable after a day at work.

After 4 months, they are completely worn out. There is a hole in the fabric above my toes and the support is completely gone. I wish Brooks would go back to the good quality they once had. I am very disappointed with these. I had a pair of Adrenalines a long time ago and loved them but the last few pairs that I have purchased from Brooks do not even last 6 months. Over $100 is way too much to pay for shoes that last 6 months. Sorry, but I'm giving Brooks one more chance and if these next pair wear out quickly, I'm going to go shopping for another brand. Sorry Brooks, but your quality has gone down hill.

I have worn Ghost for the last 8 years and have been very pleased with their performance, but something has changed with the 14's. Within a couple of months of wearing the 14, I started having hip and foot pain. I went back and read the reviews and discovered it wasn't just me. It's a shame I really liked the Ghost, but they are really painful now.

Ghost was not a good fit for me as I have really high arches. I’m sure this shoe would be an excellent choice for other foot configurations. The material feels stretchy enough.

Not the same as the Ghost 12. These are narrower and shorter. I tried a longer size, then they?re just a bit too long without changing the width significantly. Returned.

Test ran for a few days now. To me it?s much different than older versions of Ghost. The tongue is stiff and digs into my foot and the toe box is more narrow which feels tight during longer runs where my feet get fatter. Will see if they break in more but so far not a fan and prefer the older versions.

This is my third pair of Ghost, and it's the first pair that I find unbearably uncomfortable. Even though I ordered 2A, the shoe runs extremely wide. After wearing them for an entire day, I had lower back pain and leg pain. Perhaps that's because -- even though the Ghost is supposed to be neutral -- the right shoe rolls my foot to the outside. I have other issues with the shoe, but I'll leave it at this: I wasted my money because I can't wear the shoe without causing damage to my body.
