The area by the heel was rubbed out and ripped with wearing these approximately 4x a week for walks of 4 to 5 miles. Disappointed that these shoes didn't last longer.

I was advised by Brooks to try these because the Cascadia that I had purchased in the past was no longer available. These shoes were not at all similar and are useless to me. They have no support and do not have the little loop to tuck in your laces. They are not waterproof. I wish I could return them.

I used to be a fan until I tried the Adrenalines!! I have been wearing Brooks for a long time. I started with the Ghosts and really liked them, but switched to Adrenalines when my lower back started hurting. I thought I?d give the ghosts another chance because of the sale, but I was wrong. They are so very different. They have a very narrow toe box, they don?t seem to have the bounce in the step, and my feet and legs actually felt fatigued after being at work. I move A LOT at work and never feel any pain with adrenalines. I usually come home and walk 1-2 miles easily in those. With the ghosts, I needed to take them off and be don?t with them. Make sure you know exactly what you want out of them if this is what you want. They are narrow, not for walking a ton, my legs got tired a lot, and I hike 12+ miles a day in the summer. I had to return. I might have to get another pair of adrenalines!!

I have been wearing Ghosts almost exclusively since 2015 and have run several marathons in them. They've always been my go-to shoe for running longer distances. But I am disappointed in the 14s for one reason: the tongues rub the skin off where they touch the top of my foot/ankle. Unfortunately, I bought them a while back and continued to run in my 13s for a while. And now it's past 90 days and I can't return. I now have to remember to wear Band-Aids and/or socks that cover my ankles. Hey Brooks, whatever change you made to the tongue of this shoe? Change it back!

The Ghost used to be one of the best shoes out there. It was perfect for my foot type. It really help me not overpronate and just felt good. Ever since the Ghost 10, little by little it just started getting worse and worse. With the new Ghost 14, my feet couldn?t take it anymore. I keep getting injured. I tried to give a blind eye to it, but every time I would go back to another show, I would feel better, then go back to using Ghost 14 and got injured again. The more I use them, the worse I feel. Why do you change something that was already great? I?m moving on from Brooks.

I have been disappointed. So love my old Ghosts and these are not anything close - same size, only bought six months apart. I kept hoping they would break in, but now wish I had returned.

I've worn Ghosts in the past but this new version rubs on the tops of my toes. I tried different sizes, widths, colors but they were all uncomfortable. I'm disappointed because I liked the colors and the cushion level.

This is not like the current ghost I purchased years ago. The support is not the same and the toe box is much smaller even when purchasing wide. I feel when I run these shoes make my foot turn inward and not steady. I'm going to try glycerin.

Purchased at Road Runner Sports and had to return after wearing for 2 days. Fit is narrower than Adrenaline which I normally wear and actually hurt my feet. Also the current shoe laces come untied constantly. I loved the color but just could not wear.

I have worn brooks ghost for many years. In recent years it is always a stressful time when I have to buy a new pair because I never know what you will do to the shoe. The Ghost 12 was your best shoe. The 13 material especially the heel does not hold up to the wear and tear. Cheaper material and cheaply made. The 14 is a mess. Sizing is all wrong. Seems to be quite a bit longer. The toe box is a lot narrower and the heel is wider. The reason I continued to buy these shoes was because they had a big toe box and narrow heel. Now I have a new pair of shoes that are garbage. And now, I have to find a new brand. Just don?t understand why you have to ruin a good thing.

These shoes are great at first-I have had 3 pairs but each one has lasted less than the one before. My last pair the cushion wore down in less than 3 months-I don?t even wear them every day!

If you're old (like me) and rely on these for all day support (as a healthcare worker) beware! Ghost 14 has much less give in the bunion/below great toe area than the #13's, and base is a bit more streamlined (not as flared/stabilizing). Same basic profile tho. It killed my feet for a few days. Trying to get used to them. The #13's (8W) were a dream first walk to the day I wore out each pair! Not something that's evident in a pic or trying on the first few steps. Give it one shift at the hospital. :(.

While comfortable, I just couldn’t handle the look of such an orthopedic looking shoe yet.

These are just ok. I LOVED them for the first couple of days but after about a week they just felt like normal gym shoes. I would have given them a 3-4 star review but the rubber part on the toe has already started to come off after about a week.

I LOVED my 13s. I bought 3 pairs of 13s. Excellent heel support for my bone spurs. Fit well. Imagine my shock when I ordered 14s and broke them in and hated the fit! The heel rubs on both sides of my Achilles causing irritation. I tried lacing changes. I tried different socks ( I wear Balega). I cannot so even shorter runs in the 14s. So they became my run to the store or not going far shoes. I'm scared to try again.

Very comfortable for running & walking however only 2 stars as the tread wore down in less than 3 months. Have been wearing Brooks for 10 years & have never had a pair wear out so quickly.
