feels narrow and toe front too tight

These look like they would be good shoes--but the pair I received had obviously been worn. Super disappointed.

I tried Brooks years and years ago, but they didn't work out. I started wearing custom orthotics and wore them in my trusty New Balance 840 shoes for years, but when New Balance changed the design and fit on those shoes this year, they were no longer my go to shoes anymore. I thought I would give Brooks another chance, because I heard good things about the Brooks Ghost, and I also had my orthotics to use with them. I wore them around the house for a week. The first few days I thought, yeah, these feel pretty good, these might be keepers. The next few days after that I started feeling some pain in my ankles, but I thought maybe I'm going to have to go through a little break in period. The last day, my ankles were very swollen and hurt so bad I couldn't take it anymore. Unfortunately, Brooks Ghost didn't work out for me, so I'm on the hunt for shoes again.

These were cute, fit well, and had great support. The downside was the tread. I wore them around the house for a while, and fell in love with them. Decided I was going to keep them, so headed out on my daily walk. Heading down my driveway (raised aggregate) and almost landed on my arse. Went back in the house deciding to return them, but opted to give them another go. Same thing happened. Have never felt so unsure of my footing as I did in these. They would probably be fine on flat pavement, but that's about it. I do lots of hiking and backpacking, so pretty steady on my feet, but these left me feeling that an accident was in my future if I opted to keep them. Returned them.

Disappointed with the shoe - feet were very sore after wearing for a few hours.

I love the Ghost 13 so hoped the Ghost 14 would be similar but they are so uncomfortable and hurt the soles of my feet so I am returning.

Material is too soft and wrinkles. The sneaker will not hold up over time.

I loved the colour and style of these shoes. I have the ghost 13’s which are great. Used them in my 1/2 marathon. No issues at all. My husband bought the 14’s in April for me as a birthday present. I started using them in July. So I’ve been running in them for 3 months and realised that I’m having pains in my legs I’ve never had before. These ghost 14’s are very different than the ghost 13’s. I’m so sorry to have to return them as they are truly very pretty. I actually just ordered the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22. Hopefully these will work better for the stability I need.

My foot felt like is was falling back into the heel. This had so much potential to be a better sneaker.
