I've had several versions of the Brooks Ghost, and they have all fit my wide forefoot well, but the toe box on the 14 was too narrow.

I've owned Brooks before, and I really wanted to love the ghost 14. But the more I wore them, the more uncomfortable they felt. I didn't notice a lot of cushion and the collar seems pretty stiff. I noticed the collar had a blood stain from the rubbing on my ankle, so if you have thin or bony ankles/feet, you might need more cushion. Won't buy this model again

Left foot feels different in the arch than the right foot. These are not as comfortable as the Ghost 10 or Ghost 13. I miss the 10's so much!!!!

I really loved the look of these shoes, I love purple and leopard print. Sadly, they did not provide enough arch support and after a few months, I developed planter fasciitis since I work in a warehouse on concrete floors for over 10 hours and they could not help, even adding insoles for PF.

Ghost has been my go-to athletic shoe for years, but this pair not so much. After just a couple of months, there was virtually no support or comfort.

I have3 stars because I love the brooks brand and believe this is a good shoe. However going from the ghost 12 to the ghost 14 it seems as though the shoe size has increased. I usually wear an 8.5 and the shoe is slightly too big and I would recommend ordering a half size down. Additionally the laces are a bit annoying as the flat design style often comes untied when walking and running.

I ran down my Ghost 12's and was ready to upgrade! Naturally, my instinct was to purchase the latest in the Ghost series. Immediately felt a difference between the two. The 12's were comfortable from the moment I put them on my feet. The 14's had a much longer break in period. It took a while before I could run more than 3 miles in them without my inner arch hurting. That part of the shoe was very stiff. It also doesn't feel as if there is as much cushion. I've broken in the shoes, but they're still not as comfortable as my 12's. Additionally, the laces suck. My shoes easily come un-tied. All around, it feels like a cheaper version of the 12's.

Ghosts are my go-to, now that the Pure Flow is no longer around. I?ve had several pairs of Ghosts, starting with the 8s, I want to say. Unfortunately, I?ve been a little disappointed in 13s. The insole is different. They don?t seem to maintain the cushion that the 12s and older had, thus wearing out sooner, and the flat laces come untied more easily. I do appreciate the arch support that Ghost offers, and the variety of patterns available. They?re still more comfortable to me than any other shoe on the market. I work in the medical field, do enjoy jogging, and have had two ankle surgeries and back surgery.

I have found a couple of the ghosts to be great although the carbon footprint are a bit heavy, good for slow runs

I like the design and how lightweight they are. The fabric is breathable. The shoes are a bit on the narrow side. I have narrow feet and they feel snug. Also, they squeak every now and then, not exactly the squeaky noise but a bunch of small ones, like little pops. I still like them.

I have worn these shoes for many years. For some reason the pair I just got rubs my big toe. Is the toe-box narrower than it used to be? I don't know, but I can only wear these for short periods of time.
