I decided to try Ghost after using slightly more minimal shoes for years because as I age, I feel like I need a little more cushion. The Ghosts definitely give a lot of comfort especially in the heel area. They felt pretty snug around the top of my foot on my first run out of the box, but after adjusting the laces and wearing them a few times, they hug my feet without constricting them and have plenty of toe room. My only beef is that they are noticeably heavier than other Brooks models I've used (PureFlow, Launch), so my legs get tired in a different way. Overall comfy so far with a little bit of an adjustment period.

These fit well and have a wide toe box. I would prefer a pair that is not all black, which is why I gave this 4 stars.

They need the insoles that the Ariels had. Love the purple leopard print, but they could for sure be more cushioned!

The Ghost 14 is really comfortable. They are a touch too wide for my foot but with heavier socks on they fit well. I bought these to wear on the treadmill but they are so comfortable I am wearing these on the street.

This shoe was recommended for me by a podiatrist. Unfortunately, it is not helping my plantar fasciitis. In fact, they may be making the PF worse. Asics's cushioning is superior. On the other hand, I absolutely LOVE the way the Brooks look. They definitely have a modern appeal, unlike Asics.

They fit pretty well. The bounce in the step and stability is great!

The shoes fit very well. I really like the material feel and color. My only reason for the lower rating is because I've been a Brooks Ariel wearer for a number of years & found this particular style, while comfortable, didn't have the cushioning I was used to.

nice color but too short for my size 10.5 and very hard to get into the shoe with my high instep and arch. Opening the laces for instep ended up with very short laces to tie.

These felt a short to me. The laces also were super short.

Great shoe but shoelaces are shorter then the last pair I bought so I switched them out with the old pair.

I am an avid runner and I absolutely love these shoes! Light weight and great for long runs. Definitely would recommend these for a neutral feel.

I love the shoes, but the laces are nowhere as good as the last pair I had. They are too silky and keep coming untied, unless double bowed. My Ghost 12 from last year has great laces that never come untied , with only a single bow!!!

Like all my running shoes, I sized up a half size. Fair amount of room in the toe box. Okay cushion, not as good as Asics Nimbus (which are way too narrow now), so I still use an insert. Fun colors!
I'd also recommend:

I really wanted to like the Ghosts but after running in them for roughly 37 miles, I had to retire them. They felt a little stiff and clunky for me. Beautiful shoe and very sturdy, just not for me.
I'd also recommend:

I have been an Aasics girl for many years but was having trouble finding my size in narrow. I decided to try the Brooks. I was pleased to find they fit nice and snug in the heel. I debated on the size - they seem to run a tad bit shorter than Aasics but I still feel pretty comfortable in these.

Great shoe, however, the Ghost 12 size 8.5 women's is 4.5" width, the Ghost 14 is smaller at 4.25"

Brooks saved my feet from pain...this is my second pair and I can walk 20,000 steps a day in these on concrete floor. Perfect shoe for issues with tendons and ligaments.

The Ghost 14's are my 3rd pair of Ghosts. I purchased in February for walking, but I alternate between pther shoes. To my surprise, my soles are practically worn out in a period of roughly 5 months. Yet, by other Ghosts, which are older, still look new. While the shoe was initially comfortable, light and cushiony, now I get hip and foot pain when I wear them. What happened to the quality on the 14's? Maybe I recieved a defective pair. I have been such a fun of Brooks Ghost that I hate to think that the shoe is poorly made. I also do not like the flat laces. MY 13's have nice sturdy laces, which I prefer.

I like these because I have bunions and hammertoes and these do not hurt them. I also have had plantar fasciitis in the past and these seem to have enough support to not cause a problem. However, I am only rating the shoes a 4 because the fabric uppers are already wearing out (most notably where my bunions are rubbing them inside.) In other shoes, the soles wore out before the uppers. I wish they would last longer, but I will likely continue to buy them because they do not hurt my feet! (I do not run. I wear them for walking.) (The fabric uppers are likely not waterproof)

A solid shoe. However, I much prefer the Ghost 13, as those shoes have better arch support and the materials feel like a higher quality. I am not sure if it is because they used recycled materials to make the 14, but the quality of the shoe itself definitely feels lesser than the 13. But the shoe does it's job.
