I stopped wearing Brooks a few years ago because the wide width were very tight across the toes. I run 2-3 half marathons a year, and decided to try them ago. These are my new go-to! Very roomy and cushiony.

I have been looking for a very comfortable athletic shoe for everyday wear. I have been wearing Sauconys for many years but when I purchased a pair recently I found the quality, fit and feel far from what my older pair offered. They just seemed cheap to me. I was very disappointed. My one son wears Brooks and suggested that I try a pair and his girl friend also wears Brooks . I wear a 7 1/2 W normally but in an athletic shoe I wear an 8 W. I am not into running but walk many miles. After a couple of weeks of wearing my Ghost 14 shoes I am very impressed with the comfort of the foot bed area, the support they afford for my high arches, heel support and overall fit of the shoes. Highly recommended.

Roomy toe box, and the heels and not too wide, they don’t slip. So these are very comfortable for me. Zappos recommended size 10.5, which surprised me because my usual size is 9.5. For comparison, recent brands I’ve worn in size 9.5 are Hoka and Skechers. But the 10.5 fit just right. So I would say maybe the Brooks “run small”. This is the first pair of Brooks I’ve had. Very well made. There is mesh on the top of the toes, but some sort of more structured material on the instep, which makes them more comfortable and stable.
