I've purchased Brooks Adrenaline GTS before and they've been great, but this newer model is not nearly as cushioned and feels and looks more cheaply made than prior Adrenalin GTS

The Adrenaline GTS 22 (this shoe) is not really an update of the previous, I think it was GTS 19. This one is thicker in the sole and heel and is much "more shoe" than I can handle. I am disappointed because I was looking for all black, which it is. But this shoe would be a tripping hazard for me. Sorry.

Still haven't given up on Brooks. I will keep looking. I also like Nike, some of them.

I'm an "original" Brooks owner meaning I like the rounder forefoot and deeper toe box with sturdy reinforced overpayment construction of the "old" Brooks shoes recommended for anyone wanting very good support and more than minimum cushion. This shoe doesn't meet any of those standards, is narrow overall (no matter the stated width I think) and since made mostly of mesh, won't hold up to continued use. I am disappointed that a shoe company, known for high quality, has appeared to compromise its standards, producing more of a "fashion sneaker."

Asics; perhaps On Cloud X (still testing)

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for several years, my last ones being the 19 and 21...and they were great. I have gotten lazy through COVID and decided to order online rather than going to the running store. Adrenaline 21's were selling for $210!! So I decided to try the 22. The most options were through Zappo. Loved that Zappo allows the buyer to use Amazon account and Prime shipping. The shoes were here in 2 days, a day before promised. Unfortunately, when I tried on the shoe it was very stiff, especially on the upper part around the ankle. It was totally uncomfortable. It was not at all like my previous Adrenalines. This could be because the GTS is a "stability" shoe. I want stability but also need comfort. I returned the shoe. I have learned my lesson...don't buy shoes online.

The fit and size were fine. I thought they looked very nice and pretty for a sneaker. Loved the colors. However, underneath the sneaker at the sides it has started to wither away and break.

I have ordered these previously and they were comfortable and fit great. They must have changed something because the foot bed is super hard and despite wearing them around the house for several days they didn't soften up. Returning them.

I was very disappointed in these shoes - I have been wearing Brooks for years and it seems that they have decided to cut costs: the laces are short and skimpy and the shoe itself seems the same. I have just ordered the same shoe in an EE hoping that the toe box will work with this size - keepin' my fingers crossed

I had 4 pairs of the adrenaline gets 20s, which were wonderful! Something has changed in the gts 22 model. The fit is way different and unstable. Please return to the 20 model. Also, the sole started coming off two weeks into wear. I was going on a trip and didn’t want to mess with a return, so I glued it. Overall quality went way down. It’s too bad… I would have bought several more if this fit like the 20 model. Back to searching for a good shoe/model/brand!

I have been wearing adrenalines for about 5 or 6 years now, and the 2022 edition is a noticeable downgrade from the previous versions I've owned. Overall, the quality seems cheaper. The laces are awkward and short; the back stay by my ankle is flimsy; and while the sole and support feels light, it is much firmer than previous versions (I live in the city and run on roads/sidewalk so this is very noticeable). I even tried on my old pair of adrenalines to compare and the difference is clear. The only redeeming part of the 2022 edition were some of the new colors. I got a pretty lilac color and I love that. Even if you have worn adrenalines religiously like I have, I highly recommend trying the 2022 ones in-store before buying. Brooks, please give us a solid upgrade next time!

Really wanted to like this shoe. Love the stability, have used Adrenaline in the past. But the *height* of the toe box (above the great toe) was too shallow- even on the wide size and 1/2 size bigger. bummer!

Very comfortable and high quality material. Just tired of the back of my heels being rubbed raw. Will not purchase Brooks again.

Like other reviews with one star, I have been wearing Adrenaline exclusively for the last 10 years (since 2012). However, this is the first year I'm having a problem with this shoes. I need 7 1/2 W and it's been perfect. This year I developed a condition called Morton's neuroma. My foot doctor told me that the ball part of my shoes are too narrow. So I compared the one with Adrenaline 21 which I own three pairs. Sure enough, Adrenaline 22 is slightly narrower than the previous model. Please consider this when you make the next year's Adrenaline. I would not buy it again without trying. Thank you.

This shoe fits/feels completely different than the Adrenaline 21. Brooks took the Ghost 14, added rails for support and called it Adrenaline 22 so basically this shoe is a Brooks Ghost with support. I really liked the color (Blue/Purple/Nightlife) but I'm sending back due to it not being as comfortable as last year's Adrenaline 21 model.

The GTS 21s were great- super cushion + support. These are not as cushioned and the shoe feels narrow despite my ordering a wide width. Sadly, my bunion isn't happy in this newer model and I had to return.

VERY DISAPPOINTED ...I have very wide feet. I used to wear nothing but New Balance running shoes UNTIL they got cheap started making changes. That is when I began wearing Brookes. USED TO love Brookes, but it would appear that they are making some changes. The first thing that I noticed out of the box was the laces. I could have gone to the Dollar General and done better. And the outer shoe material just feels cheap. I am usually able to put on my shoes and go for run. Not with these. They felt tight and very narrow. I changed socks. I retied my laces. Nothing helped. I ran for about 2 whole minutes on the treadmill when I decided that they just needed to be returned. Very sad to see Brookes making this move to put out such poor quality. I'm not spending my money on these shoes...They are getting returned.

My PT had recommended this shoe for me: an 8.5 Narrow flat foot. But boy was this a bad choice for me. I tried both 8 and 8.5 and neither fit! The 8 was too short, but the toe bed felt fine in width and narrow felt good. Then the 8.5 N had a weird feeling to the toe bed which was way too squinchy, while at the same time the back was too deep and large! It just was not a good choice for me.

i am a determined walker and and my pace is 13-15 minute mile on paved and gravel paths. I am so disappointed in Brooks. I LOVED the Cascade 15 style and it provided the cushioning I need for my feet. I have tried SEVERAL different styles the last few weeks trying to find something equitable to no avail. Seems more shoes are getting squishy inside and less stable outside. BUMMER. Hopefully this will change. Thank goodness Zappos is so easy to deal with.

Had to return them. While my last Brooks Adrenalines were size 11, European Size 45, these showed up as Size 11, European Size 43. Don't know if it was mislabeled, but they were definitely too small.

This is the 2nd pair of GTS 22 I have had. The first one was returned within a month because the sole/tread was breaking away. This pair was a replacement for those and I received them at the end of Feb. It is now beginning of June. The sole/tread is also breaking away, the fabric on the side of the shoe is wearing away. I have only had these 3 months! Yes, I wear them every day, but previous versions easily lasted 6+ months with same wear. Can we also talk about the shoe laces....they were 4" shorter when compared with the GTS 21. If you have a wide foot like I do, I could not even tie the shoes with the new laces. Had to take laces out of my old shoes and put them in these. Comfort and wide toe box are still there which is why I gave them a 2 instead of a 1. What happened?!? Did you change location of manufacturing, go with cheaper materials? Either way, the life span on these has been horrible! I am actively looking for different shoes to replace these with. So disappointed.

I felt like I had cement attached to my feet. I am a loyal adrenaline fan, but the 22s are a joke!!! They instantly hurt my big toes with every step. People got paid to make these "improvements "??

I am a loyal adrenaline wearer. I am not certain why you would make changes to a shoe with a 5 star rating? The 22 is uncomfortable and made my feet feel numb. They immediately hurt my big toe joints. I am so disappointed. I have noticed the quality is slipping and will start to explore other brands. I used to wear launch, but the "upgrades" made that shoe unbearable as well...get it together

Sad to say this updated version of the Adrenaline is not as comfortable as previous models. I wish the older models would come back! If I had not already worn them, I would definitely return them.
