I have been wearing the Adrenalin GTS for years - I totally love the fit - this is the first time I am complaining, but it is not about the fit, or the comfort - the inside material around the heel, of the GTS 22 is almost gone - full of holes, and has destroyed my rather costly cotton costly socks - I ordered another pair because the GTS 23 will not be out until the Fall - still, the new pair, after one days wear started to do the same damage - I was told the GTS 23 will have the same lining, etc., etc., - so disappointed.

These shoes are comfortable and fit nicely. My one and only complaint is that the inside just doesn't hold up. This is my second pair of this style and after only 4 months of use the inside is falling apart. I have several other brand shoes that this does not happen to and I've had them longer. Maybe the inside material is cheap and thin or maybe a defect, but nonetheless useless like this.

Our entire family has been purchasing the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for the past 10 years on average. We replace them every 2 years on average. During the last replacement, all of us have experienced holes in the inner cloth towards the top of the heel. This happened to us with only a few months of wear. We find this very odd and disappointing. Is another material being used recently? We haven't experienced this up until this past year.

Ran with the 21 for over 6 years since cannot find the 21 anymore finally went with 22, totally different and causing plantar fasciitis. I have never had any foot problems and I run 9 miles everyday now because of the 22 I am starting to have issues. Bring back the 21.

I'm honestly very disappointed in these shoes. I love my Brooks Adrenalines that I purchased two years ago, but this version is way too cushion-y, hurts my arches, and makes my feet cramp when I run. I'm still deciding whether I can break them in enough or if I have to go through the hassle of returning them.

I believe Brooks has shrunk the toe box ever so slightly making the shoe extremely uncomfortable for me! I am disappointed in this shoe and will be sending it back. I may try to order a wide shoe to give Brooks one more chance before I move on to another supportive shoe.

Had the Adrenaline GTS 21 for my long distance races and these were the perfect balance of support, heel security and cushion. The new 22s feel less supportive in the uppers and also a bit short. The ball of the foot area feels very flat and after my first 2 runs, my arches and metatarsals were killing me. Probably ok for shorter runs, but disappointed. Why fix something that's not broken :(

Totally different fit. Runs smaller than the 21. I will have to look for a different style of brooks. Wish they didn't change them

I was really disappointed because I really love my brooks adrenaline 21. I've worn them every day for a year or more and they really help my knee arthritis. They are starting to get old though, so I went to reorder them but I saw that you only sold the adrenaline 22s now.
When I got a new pair I couldn't believe how uncomfortable they were. I tried to walk around my house with them but they were so high in the back of my heel that they made my knees feel bad. I returned them the next day and now I have still been on a search for shoes that are like brooks adrenaline 21s. I wish you still sold your older model.
Thanks

I buy 1 pair a year, (these are my favorite running shoes of all time). But.. I just got my "version 22" (2023) pair and I can say this, you guys made a mistake this year. The laces are too short and the flat material is silly and doesn't tie well, I can't tie a runners loop or a bow well with these. I bought a custom color, so I can't find matching laces. Tried to order longer/old style laces from you guys, but you don't sell laces. RETURNED

Runs smaller than the 21, also shallower. The laces are flat now which I like but otherwise somewhat unimpressed with the 22. I've worn them a few times so can't return but pretty bummed that they run shorter than previous version.

I've been buying the Adrenalines exclusively for decades. All of them were marvelously comfortable from the first wear until the 21. So I bought older 20 and 19s until they became unavailable. The 22 seems like a slight step up from the 21, but still nowhere near the traditional greatness. As you can see from the categories, the problem isn't fit/size. It's comfort/feel/flexibility. I hope the 23 will be a return to form.

From the moment I put on the 22's my excitement turned to extreme disappointment and then confusion and despair. They felt stiff and hard without the cushiony bounce I was used to feeling from adrenaline. I remember my first pair of adrenalines well. The 19 was an Amazing shoe!! I could run forever on the pillowy softness instantly the first moment I wore them.
Well, I gave the 22's more time thinking that was somehow the problem. They hav Denver improved. I have given up and I am searching desperately for my next running shoe. I run a moderate amount 4-5 miles a day 4-6 times a week and have high arches.

Toe box continues to be too narrow, even when ordering a wide pair at a half-size larger. (Also, I dislike the grey laces on a black shoe.)

Not a fan. I returned them. They did not help with my plantar fasciitis, actually made it worse.

Had to return the 22 after wearing this shoe beginning with the 19. With each model change, this shoe has gotten narrower, and more shallow. It has also changed to an incredibly awkward tongue that creates irritation on both feet with where the "angles" hit. I used to be able to wear an 8 regular, with my orthotics and no issues up to the half marathon distance. Now, I can't wear the 8 wide with the exact same orthotics as the shoe has become so shallow that the uppers no longer work even in a wide, the 8.5 is just longer, not wider or deeper. Incredibly disappointing. I have a horrible time finding shoes that work with my various issues and Brooks, like other brands before it, wreck a perfectly good shoe when I'm 3 models in and I have to start over. If you have a normal foot I am sure they are ok but they no longer work for me.

I'm a walker, not a runner. Brooks shoe widths are either wide or medium. I have narrow heels and although the medium width works well for the front of my feet, medium does not work for my heels. Also, the tongue on the left shoe, no matter how it is tied, rubs against the front of my ankle--I should not have to purchase anything to make the heel fit. I do like the style, as well as the color of the shoes I'm trying, but discouraged about the heel area. Shoe laces need to be longer.

You took a great shoe and gave it horrible laces! The slick laces don't stayed tied! They are barely long enough for a double knot. And forget about using the heel anchor (last hole), because the laces are far too short. I ended up using laces from my old pair of Adrenaline 21's, which have the proper bite to stay tied. Big failure.

Adrenalines are always my go-to. This one didn't work. I usually need almost no break-in time w Adrenalines- they're comfy right out of the box. This one was not super comfortable. Also, the colorway I got did not look like the pictures online (pics online look more like a dark gray, but the shoe is actually more of a light silvery/whitish gray which I didn't like. Guess I'll wait longer and hold out hope I like the 23's better

The shoe design is fine, but not sure why they changed the toebox again to be so narrow. I have always worn 9B, but when putting this shoe on, my foot barely fit. Shoelaces are very short compared to previous GTS. I believe that there was another year that this occurred and then it went back to the tried and true Adrenaline GTS. I have been a fan of Adrenaline GTS since the Adrenaline GTS 13. I hope that the GTS 23 will be a better version than 22.

The fit was a more snug than expected. Length was adequate. Shoe was not comfortable, and hurt my one foot. Padding around heel end was stiff and thinner than Adrenaline 21. Shoe laces are ridiculous, too short ? and look cheap. These Adrenaline 22’s are a disappointment compared to my two pairs of Adrenaline 21’s. Too much money for the 22’s. I will be trying other brands.

Brooks adrenaline are the only shoes I put on my feet to work in. I just ordered the adrenaline 22 and they are more narrow than the adrenaline 21. I wear a size regular 9 in women’s. I ordered the black ones and they look nice. I will just be exchanging them for a wider fit.

I have been an Adrenaline wearer for years. This version is nothing like the previous - and not in a good way! The midsole was stiff and uncomfortable and caused foot pain almost immediately. About a mile into the run I started experiencing hip and knee pain that I don't have with my previous Adrenalines. I usually lace my shoes up using the extra heel lock hole, but the laces are so short that you can barely tie them this way. I had to stop and retie my shoes more than once on a 3 mile run, which was never an issue with any other Brooks shoe I've owned in the past. I may give them one more shot, but more than likely I'll be returning them. Please let the 23 be nothing like this shoe and everything like the 19/20. While I usually enjoy the stability shoes and wanted so bad for these to work, I suppose I'll be sticking with the Hyperion Tempo for now. Much more comfortable, no pain, and you can actually tie them! This is only getting 2 stars because they're a pretty pink.
