I'm a Brooks fan. However, the cut of these really did damage! I wore them for ONE DAY and they hurt my bunion so badly. At the same time I bought these, I also bought another pair and THAT pair did the same damage. I returned them both. Both pairs were GTS. Despite getting them in a wide width, they were detrimental to my feet.

I didn't get to try them on yet. THEY ARE SOAKING WET! I needed a new pair to wear this weekend. They arrived soaking wet! The box was disintegrated by the rain. No plastic bag over the box! My shoes are soaking wet! I paid all this money for soaking wet shoes! And, I can't use them for the occassion I needed! Where to get shoes on this short notice with my budget screwed!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Ordered these twice - both times the insert was too long on the right shoe.

Fit was poor. Quality control was off - there was something sticking into the bottom of my foot that didn't happen on exactly the same pair of shoes.

A shoe sold as wide that is too narrow for me. I wear the Ghost in a B, the Glycerin in a wide and they are both acceptable. This shoe is far too narrow for me. Very disappointed. I returned them.

I have worn Brooks sneakers before and I bought these to wear on a trip and they were the most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever worn. Considering the price I paid for them, I am willing to throw them away because they are that uncomfortable. Unfortunately Zappos would not allow me to return these shoes because I wore them a few times.

I tested this shoe while walking on my treadmill. The sole was very slippery to the point where I was concerned I could fall and had to stop. I've never seen a sole like this one has - almost like a slick, harder plastic without any grippiness. I compared it to 3 other Brook shoes in my order, all of which felt normal - not slick with a grippy, slight rubbery feeling. Maybe it would be fine on a rough road/sidewalk, but definitely dangerous on a treadmill. Beyond that, I found the shoe to be boxier looking (thick through the middle) than other Brooks' styles. I'll be returning this shoe.

I have worn Brooks addiction sneakers for over 15 years and while the style number has remained the same as my last 4 pairs, the fit is definitely different. The date on the tongue of the shoe is 07/22. The shoe is longer and wider. While Brooks states that this is the same shoe as before, it definitely is NOT.

This was my 3rd pair of Addiction this year . They felt awful! An inch shorter, tighter and even the laces were too short. Very disappointed as the first 2 pairsvwere the only sneakers that provided the support I need without pain. If Brooks changed this model, please go back to what you had!

Unusually a 9 and 1/2 wide, 9 1/2 double wide and they were too narrow. I tried at 10 wide and 10 1/2 doublewide. One was too big the other one was too small. I couldn't find the correct sizing. Not only that but these were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. They are extremely firm and have zero cushion and the arch was not in the correct spot on my foot so it caused a lot of foot pain. I've never had so many issues with a pair of shoes in my life. This was my first time trying Brooks and I can honestly say I will never try to purchase another pair.

I wore for 2 weeks and the bottoms of both shoes wore down quite a bit on bottom outside of shoe. Going to return for refund. Just bought them.

Lower quality insole, and less overall comfort, than previous versions of Brooks Addiction.

This numbered model of Addiction is soo uncomfortable. I loved the previous models but these are horrid. My feet are in pain after being in them for my usual day (up to 8 hours). I've had them for almost a year now but stopped wearing them after 3 months. There is slim to none insole. The one provided is hard as a rock with no cushioning (thats why i states slim to none). There is also no movement in the show as it is stiff as a board, adding to the uncomfortability. I am now done with ASICS. If you want a better comfortable sneaker. Go for the ASIC Kayano. I am going back to them. So long Brooks. They do run normal size. I am a normal 9 in womens but got them in a 9.5. A 9 would have been fine but it truly doesnt matter because they are extremely terrible feeling on my feet.

Toe box wide for a 2A shoe. Slide around in them. Also the heel doesn't support the back of my foot. A narrow shoe should be narrow in the front and back of the shoe.

Sadly these are so narrow in the tie box that my little toe and the side of my foot are in a lot of pain when I wear them. I haven't had these issues with any other shoes. I even tried ordering a wide version but they were still too narrow. It's a bummer because the foot support is great.

I am very disappointed with these sneakers. I find them very bulky and not comfortable. I have another pair of Brooks and there is no comparison. I think I may return - need to look into policy as I did wear them twice.

So sorry to say that this shoe was unwearable. I tried and tried to make it comfortable. Over the years I have worn most recognizable brands (including Brooks). This particular shoe design has an odd still cardboard like material that runs along the inside of the toe box. So uncomfortable, will be returning. Hope to find a Brooks that is comfortable.
