The size was not as wide as previous Brooks styles and the material felt very stiff and irritating so I will be returning these.

Such a horribly uncomfortable shoe! I usually wear NB and this shoe was comparable in length and width, and they look nice, but they're so stiff and inflexible that they cut into the sides and top of my feet. As others have mentioned the laces are too short to tie. If they'd been the slightest bit comfortable I would have replaced the laces, but unfortunately they're going back.

This was disappointing. I’ve worn the Addiction for more than 20 years of active work on my feet. I always loved it because of the wide toe box for my duck feet, the roomy height inside for my high arches, and the support for my long instep. But this design seems to have lost everything I loved about the shoe. For one, while the footbed was wide enough, Brooks is now skimping on the height of the side pieces. For an extra wide foot like mine (I ordered these in 9 X-wide), that translates into a gap between the tongue and the side of the shoe when laced up. When I removed the laces, I could see my socks through the holes where the laces go. That’s new because my previous pair of Addiction 14s were fine with no socks showing and no gap between tongue and side of shoe. I got them in gray because the black wasn’t available in my size. Yuk! I was ready to send them back just for the color alone. However, I tried them on just to see how they felt. Where did my wonderful Addictions go? No cushioning, just hardness under my foot. The toebox is different and nowhere near as comfortable as my previous Addictions. Plus, it felt like the height of the toebox and foot is now a bit lower. For someone with a very high instep, this is noticeable and uncomfortable. So, back they go. I wish Brooks would stop trying to improve the Addictions. My last pair of Addiction 13s are fine, but the outer fabric has never been durable. Going back to the Addiction 11 or 12 would be perfection. Sigh…

I love the shoe, and have had several pairs. However, I had to send this pair back because it appeared to have been slightly worn with debris on the bottom sole and smudges on the white area of shoe. Otherwise, as far as the shoe itself I will definitely purchase again.

I have used Brooks addictions for years and loved them until the last two pairs which have worn out in the padded heel area of ankle while the rest of the shoe still looks new. Very disappointing.

I'm disappointed. This model was recommended by the man who makes my orthopedic inserts. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal (as recommended in comments) and Wide width (up from my normal regular). Walked around my home in them for 4 hours and had uncomfortable rubbing on my outside toe. I returned them. Shoes themselves are well made and are probably a good choice for those with narrow feet. Must size up at least a half size.

I've only ever bought the Ghost series from Brooks. I struggle, though because I need a wide shoe. So I am always just having to choose the ugly shoe bc it's my size. The Adrenaline has more color choices in wide but doesn't support my tendinitis. I am used to the cushion of the Ghost. The Adrenaline doesn't work for me. It's pretty but not functional in a restaurant setting, or with someone with tendinitis.

They just don't fit the way they used too. They seem to have a lot less cushioning and it is like walking with a board strapped to your feet. I have bought many pairs in the past but will not purchase again.

Not enough cushioning. Same size as my last ones, but are a little too long. My last pair had better cushioning..

The sole on this shoe is very flat and stiff; definitely not 'generously cushioned' as advertised.

Very disappointed. Have worn these sneakers for 10 plus years. Ordered a new pair and could barely get them on. Had to return.

Love the look and there was a warmish color (mauve which isn't actually warm but I'm going to pretend and wear it with my warm color clothing in similar colors. Shoe. looked nice on my foot but I had to lace it too tight to make it fit right. I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years and I know it's the right size. It fit everywhere else but to get the support promised I had to tighten the laces to the point of pain. I'm keeping the Glycerin GTS instead if anyone has the same problem with it. Cushioning was nice as promised...just doesn't work for me. I need the stability.

Brooks Adrenaline or Brooks Glycerin GTS are my best choices

I?ve been running in Brooks for the last 30 years. My first shoe was the Adrenaline and I stayed with them for the last 25 years until I started having issues with ankle and hip pain. I thought I needed something with more support and cushion and bought these. After a few runs, I realized that they were much stiffer on the sole and I felt like I was running with bricks tied to my feet. My feet would go numb after 30 minutes of running. Brooks has a wonderful return policy and back they went.

I tried these shoes for a few hours. They rubbed against the bunion on my foot. For some reason, they changed the support on the side of this shoe making them very uncomfortable. I wish I had bought two pairs Of addiction 14 before they changed them. Sent back.

Very hard sole, with no flexibility. I bought these thinking it would be a good alternative to switch off with my Brooks ghost. My plantar fasciitis is flaring up again. I replaced the cushion insert with no relief ?. Wish I saved the box, Id return them.

Your staff assured me the Addiction 15 was made on the same last as the Addiction 13 I had, and one person told me there was no change except for the materials the shoes are made of, so the same size should fit the same. Another staff person finally shared with me the fact the previous support for the stability was, in fact, replaced by guard rail technology. (Not really identical to the 13s). I have worn them a few times and are not enthused, to say the least. The toe box is too big -- my feet can move from side to side -- even though I ordered the same size as the last pair. Not the best for stability and a real risk for knee, ankle injury. The bottom of the laces (closest to the front of the shoe) are 3 5/8" from the front toe of the new shoe. My old ones measure 2 3/4" from the toe. I have bunions, and the difference in the that measurement is a problem. I have tried a couple of different socks, wondering if thickness of the sock would make a difference. So, not happy. Thank you for asking.

I was very disappointed with the Addiction GTS 15. I was hoping that it would be just like the Addiction 14, but it wasn't. With the Addiction 15, there is no more roll bar like there was in the Addiction 14. Instead, they replaced the roll bar with the guiderails, which I feel doesn't have the same amount of support/control like the Addiction 14's. I also felt the 15 had a "boxy" appearance, and I also didn't care for the color of the shoe. (I purchased women's, extra wide). I returned my shoes for a refund. I had read several reviews of others expressing disappointment with the Addiction 15's. I'm hoping Brooks will bring back the Addiction 14. It was a great shoe! Arlene S

I've always worn Brooks size 10 M shoes, Ghost and Addiction. Loved them. However the Addiction GTS 15 hurts my toes after just a few miles.
