This is my favorite shoe by brooks. It?s roomy without being a wide. I still have to wear orthotics. I have tried other wide shoes from brooks and they?re actually more narrow than this shoe. My only complaint is these NEVER go on sale. They?re pricey to have to buy one pair but when replacing them often, I just can?t afford that. I don?t know why he gets excluded from sales. So removing two stars for this reason.

Roomy toe box, great to accommodate shoe inserts. Well constructed good stretch. True to size.

Unlike the Brooks Ghost shoes I have been wearing for the past 2 years, these shoes felt way too wide and too short. I really liked the style and color (light gray and blue) but was very disappointed with the fit. I wear a 10.5 narrow, and these were definitely not a usual Brooks narrow.

I have bought several pairs of these shoes over the years they were always perfect the last pair were tight and different from before so I'm not sure what to order next. I wear a 12 wide usually not sure if extra wide would help My older pair are getting old looking So I may have to try something different just not sure what to do I'm going to try to wear the newer ones and break them in if possible

The materials are not flexible. My right foot hurt after wearing them for about four hours. They need better materials that stretch and more cushioning.

I purchased these for my 81 year old mother who walks about 4 miles/day. Since I don't live near her, I had a couple different brands sent for her to try. She tried these first. Once she got them on they were comfortable, but without a loop on the back of the shoe she had to get a shoehorn and use lots of energy to get them on. For older people or those with upper mobility issues, they just aren't user friendly. We returned them.

I have been wearing Brooks for many years. They are no longer the wonderful shoe they once were. Padding has been reduced and fit is not as good. I have several pair I would like to replace but the quality is no longer there! Sorry I will be looking elsewhere.

This shoe was more than a 1/2 size too small (I ordered up as the description suggested). I have the Addiction 14 and the length is perfect. It also irritated my Achilles tendonitis and bursitis.

I wore the Addiction line for many years. After double knee replacements, I began trying other models. I currently wear Dyad 11s (size 10.5, Wide (1D), but now have an overuse injury to one of my posterior tibial tendons, so my PT suggested I switch back to the Addiction. I ordered the current model, Addiction 15, in a 10.5, Wide (1D), but not only does it have a much narrower toe box than the Dyad, it's also about 1/4-inch shorter! Wish I'd known that when I ordered. Now I'm not sure whether to order a 10.5, Extra-Wide (2E), or what?

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost for several years. While I liked the looks of this shoe and the colors available, it just did not work for me. My feet were sore and I started to limp after walking in the house within an hour of trying the shoe. Returning them, and will have to stick with Ghost. I have very difficult feet to fit with one foot more than a 1/2 size larger than the other, along with narrow feet with a very narrow heel.

I have size 11 flat feet w/ bunions and plantar fasciitis. I?m a very active 76 year old walker. My podiatrist recommended Brooks and New Balance. I bought 11.5 wide so I could fit my orthotics in, but the toe area isn?t wide enough or high enough for my toes to be comfortable. I need a shoe horn to get them on because the heel is so stiff. They are very stable and supportive, but I?m giving them to a friend who has normal feet.

I am still breaking these in, so this is a preliminary review. So far they are not yet comfortable to wear for any length of time. Beware that compared to the size 10 2E width Ariel 20 which is exactly the same size, the Addiction is a huge looking shoe. It fits about the same as Ariel, but the look is very different. When I opened the box I thought I had mistakenly received a size 11. I bought 2 pair in different colors, but am only trying out one & may have to return the other.

Unfortunately, these did not work for me. I found them very heavy and when I took them off after wearing them the first time, my feet were killing me, under my foot on the left and the heel on the right. I'm usually an Adrenaline wearer, but since they weren't available in extra wide, I thought I would give these a try, but they didn't work. I hope the Adrenaline's that come out in July come in extra wide.

My first pair of Brooks shoes were amazing and helped a lot with my plantar faciitis. But this pair rubbed the inside of my lower ankle raw so I am in the process of returning them. So disappointed.

Great toe box - lots of room for toes. However base not very soft and shoes very heavy. I use for walking - too heavy to run in. Not sure about these shoes - but really trying to love them

A stiff shoe doesn?t move well with foot. Not enough Cushion need to be softer and flex with foot Not a good shoe if you are walking on cement floors all day
