I wore the Addiction line for many years. After double knee replacements, I began trying other models. I currently wear Dyad 11s (size 10.5, Wide (1D), but now have an overuse injury to one of my posterior tibial tendons, so my PT suggested I switch back to the Addiction. I ordered the current model, Addiction 15, in a 10.5, Wide (1D), but not only does it have a much narrower toe box than the Dyad, it's also about 1/4-inch shorter! Wish I'd known that when I ordered. Now I'm not sure whether to order a 10.5, Extra-Wide (2E), or what?

I really wanted this shoe to fit but it is more snug across the toes than my feet like.

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost for several years. While I liked the looks of this shoe and the colors available, it just did not work for me. My feet were sore and I started to limp after walking in the house within an hour of trying the shoe. Returning them, and will have to stick with Ghost. I have very difficult feet to fit with one foot more than a 1/2 size larger than the other, along with narrow feet with a very narrow heel.
I'd also recommend:

The toe area was too small. I would have lived these if only the toe area fit

I have size 11 flat feet w/ bunions and plantar fasciitis. I?m a very active 76 year old walker. My podiatrist recommended Brooks and New Balance. I bought 11.5 wide so I could fit my orthotics in, but the toe area isn?t wide enough or high enough for my toes to be comfortable. I need a shoe horn to get them on because the heel is so stiff. They are very stable and supportive, but I?m giving them to a friend who has normal feet.

I am still breaking these in, so this is a preliminary review. So far they are not yet comfortable to wear for any length of time. Beware that compared to the size 10 2E width Ariel 20 which is exactly the same size, the Addiction is a huge looking shoe. It fits about the same as Ariel, but the look is very different. When I opened the box I thought I had mistakenly received a size 11. I bought 2 pair in different colors, but am only trying out one & may have to return the other.

Unfortunately, these did not work for me. I found them very heavy and when I took them off after wearing them the first time, my feet were killing me, under my foot on the left and the heel on the right. I'm usually an Adrenaline wearer, but since they weren't available in extra wide, I thought I would give these a try, but they didn't work. I hope the Adrenaline's that come out in July come in extra wide.

My first pair of Brooks shoes were amazing and helped a lot with my plantar faciitis. But this pair rubbed the inside of my lower ankle raw so I am in the process of returning them. So disappointed.

Great toe box - lots of room for toes. However base not very soft and shoes very heavy. I use for walking - too heavy to run in. Not sure about these shoes - but really trying to love them

I needed the width but could use overall more cushioning.

First time ever, they did not fit well and caused my toes and ball of foot to burn after about 3 miles. ;(

A stiff shoe doesn?t move well with foot. Not enough Cushion need to be softer and flex with foot Not a good shoe if you are walking on cement floors all day

Quite stiff sole. I prefer the addiction but am hoping this works out.

I am using this shoe for walking. Bottom of my feet hurts just after walking 1/2 a mile. I feel like the shoe does not have enough support or cushion. sometime I feel road bed under me.

These are reasons I'm returning the above shoe: The shoelaces make it too difficult to get on & off. Also, due to foot injuries, I have trouble walking in such cumbersome shoes. Sorry....

Odd fit for this shoe. The 10.5 was too big and the 10 was too short. I’ve had other Brooks Addiction shoes that fit rightly, so maybe just a one-off.

These shoes are narrower again this new style. My foot feels crunched in and I got my usual size and width(wide). It seems like every year the style changes they are not as comfortable as a style from 2 years ago

These shoes are great as far as cushioning. They are not as roomy in the toe box as the Addiction 14.

Not as comfortable as my last pair, much stiffer. I am sure they will get better over time.

I have worn Addiction for many years. Unfortunately had to return this pair as the heel padding is so hard and so overstuffed when I got it on my foot my toes were jammed into the end of the shoe. This shoe never fit like that before. I normally wear size 7.5 but due to orthotics I go to a 8. I would need an 8.5 but then the heel would not fit correctly. I needed this shoe because I have a over pronate problem.

These shoes fit great and I like them, but unfortunately one of them squeaks quite loudly, which is very annoying. Considering i paid so much for these ($140), which is way too much to accept a defective product. Otherwise I like them very much, and am considering ordering a replacement pair, hoping for better results this time.
