to narrow and not enough support

My foot is very narrow. This shoe felt fit very clunky on my foot. Just don't work for me. Also, the grey color offered in narrow is not very attractive.

I have worn Brooks Ghost for many years both indoors and out as they give my great support for my arthritic knees but sadly the selection for my size (7 wide) has become very limited. I also noted with the last pair I bought that the wide size had less fabric across the top of the foot so I decided to try a different style. The Addiction was the better of several I tried but I do not think that what is listed as wide is really wide. I have been wearing them for short periods of time in an effort to stretch them out. I also have a stretcher that I have been using on the left which is slightly wider. So far I cannot wear them longer than a couple of hours which is not good as I want them to be an all day round the house. But the support is still good. My other point of issue with Brooks is that their laces are too short. Wide shoes need longer laces

Not as comfortable as I had hoped. Ordered a half size up and still felt small. Sending these back.

They are too high on the sides and cut into my ankles.

I like these for style, but they are cut too high on the sides for me and cut into my ankles so I am having to return them.

I like these shoes, but they're much more narrow than the Brooks 21s I have. In fact, I developed hammer toes, and my doctor thinks the shoes could be to blame.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for at least 12 years. This is the first pair that I felt did not fit "as usual". It felt short at the toe and more narrow at the heel. I am disappointed because I could always count on Brooks to fit perfectly.

I think the sizing is accurate but I need a half size up. Nice shoe.

These shoes do not have enough support for my foot issues. Love Brooks, just not these particular shoes. Great looking, but not for me sadly

The fit and size was good but the shoe was too stiff for me.

I have been wearing these shoes for years for fitness walking. This pair feels narrow and cramps my toes. The laces are too short as well. I wonder if they changed the last of the shoe or I just got a defective pair.

I have worn Brooks Addiction for many years. While the new shoes are stylish, they leave something to be desired in comfort and the arch support is lacking. In addition, the toe box is tighter than in previous years. Somewhat disappointed in Brooks.

I've been wearing the GTS Addiction for several years and recommended it, but the one I just bought is too tight in the width and hurts my toes. I'm returning to see if going up a size and keeping my usual 2E width or ordering my usual size in Extra Extra Wide. It such a hassle when they change the fit of shoes especially since I depend on them so much!

I had to return these - I ordered a full size above my regular shoe size and my toes hit the top. Also, I typically wear a narrow in a non-Brooks shoe, but the narrow width in this shoe was insanely narrow. If you have a very narrow foot and don't mind a short toe box, then you may like this shoe. It's too bad they didn't work out because I was excited to finally find a narrow running shoe in a nice color.

I have bought countless versions of this shoe. Originally I bought 7 1/2 D, then 8 D, and now this shoe is too small. I remove the foot bed and use custom orthotics (which have not changed). I will return them and order 81/2. Other than the current fit, they are terrific!
