My very first Brooks was a Revel about 15 years ago. It served me well for long dog walks and around town use. The cushioning and support was great and sold me on the company. Since then I've used Ghosts with no issues until the Ghost 14 which had a different shock absorbing system and ended up being inferior to previous models. I decided to try the Revel again. This version is really a disappointment. The shock absorption is nowhere near that of my first Revel and the fit is less snug. I returned these and ordered the Ghost 15 which so far is more like the pre-14 models. I'll never understand why shoe companies can't just leave well enough alone when they have a good thing going. Marketing perhaps. At least Brooks has a very reasonable return policy.

I bought these for my son in college in blue. He loves them. He does ALOT of walking. They are a sleek, great looking shoe, He said these are his new favorites ?

Awesome shoe. Fits to size and is extremely comfortable. My second pair of Brooks but not my last!

I used the Shoe Finder and purchased the least expensive recommended pair. Right out of the box, these shoes fit. I used to buy running shoes thinking that as long as I purchased the correct size it was all the same. I didn't know how wrong I was until I purchased a pair from Brooks.

Just bought two pair to replace two pair of Adrenalines that I put a LOT of miles on.... walking (knees won't take running anymore). These were on sale at a good price as one of the reasons for switching. If they hold up as well as the Adrenalines, I will come back and give them five stars. However, too new to know now how they compare.

This is much more comfortable for legs and knees as compared with the majority of running shoes that I have tried

I've been running in Ghosts for years, picked up a pair of Revel 5's to try out. I love them - immediately bought a second pair! They fit great, feel light, and have plenty of support. They feel amazing on my feet.

Ghost 14 a better shoe. A good looking shoe.
