I think this pair has a manufacturing defect, there is a lump on the side of one foot, feels like too much glue was used in one spot or something. Other than that they are incredibly comfortable. I'm going to return these and get another pair and see if it was indeed a factory error.

As soon as I put these shoes on, I knew I was going to love them. They are among the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. They fit perfectly, are lightweight, and have no "hot spots" that rub or press on my feet or ankles uncomfortably. I wore them for a week and then ordered a second pair. I cannot speak to durability. Also, I should note that I have not run in these and have only worn them for walking around.

I have a pair of Brooks Ghost. After using the shoe tool on their site, the recommendation was Revel 5. I love these shoes! The cushion is a bit softer than the Ghost. The fit is perfect for my road running and training needs.

These are my 4th pair of revel shoes and my first pair of revel 5?s. The 5 is true to size with other brooks. Finally got out for a run and loved the new shoes. Fit matches the revel 4 which I love. They are lighter and have a nice spring in the heel. Will defiantly continue to use the revel series shoe for my running. I owe and operate a restaurant, so im on my feet all day. The cushion and additional bounce in the heel was noticed after a long day at the restaurant. I did I received my revel 5 shoes product free of charge in exchange for your honest opinion, but I will absolutely continue to use these shoes to run and work in.

I have a pair of the Revel 3s and was recently offered a pair of the 5 in exchange for a review. While the Ghost is my favorite for running, the Revels are my go-to for the gym. The 5s are a noticable upgrade in terms of comfort - providing for an even better gym / cross-traing session. Thank you, Brooks!

Best running shoe to date. The cloth mesh toe box is great on toes and rear support is perfect for long runs. Normally run 4-5 miles a day in the shoes.
