This was my first time trying the Revel (longtime user of Ghost and Launch). The fit wasn't the same. It's all good though! Just will be a walking/casual shoe for me.

I really like this shoe. I find it really springy. I typically use this shoe for racing, generally 5 & 10 Ks

Excellent shoe for walking. Very comfortable and provides cushioning.

Great walking shoe, better running shoe than my last pair of a different brand for sure. Nice balance between soft and hard sole.

Feet hurt after running around on these. How long does it usually take to break them in?

This was my first pair of brooks shoes, and I am fairly dissapointed. I live in Bellingham Washington, so we have a store downtown and I decided when I needed to buy a new pair that I wanted to try a "local" brand. I knew many people who wore brooks, and they always loved them and recommended them to me, however I could never afford the cost until recently. Don't get me wrong, these shoes are comfortable and I feel like I walk fast in them, however there are a few drawbacks that keep me from recommending them to anyone else. The biggest issue for me is that in under 6 wears the knitted upper started to fray, and eventually created a hole at the toe in about 12. Keep in mind, these have a very large toe box, and my toes do not reach the front. This is entirely the materials fault, and poor construction. Every time I wear these shoes now I feel like they fall apart more and more, including the sole seperating, and I just cant in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

Comfortable and affordable trainers, but cushion lacks springiness and yields kind of a dead impact. Also I find I get more shin splint discomfort on these than on thinner minimalist trainers (I?m a neutral forefront striker). I may use these less for running and more for gym and walking. You may not set any PRs with these, but they?re good to have in your rotation. Also, these are larger than Brooks tru fit recommended; I should have gone a 0.5 size smaller.

Overall appearance and build are the quality that I have enjoyed with my last two pairs of Revel 4. This Revel 5 and those Revel 4 were all ordered in width Medium (D).

My husband runs every day, and this is his first pair of Brooks. He loves his Revel5 so much, I had to turn around and order him another pair just to wear to work! I got myself a pair too, and I use them for indoor workouts right now. So far so good! I'm bummed they're pretty much sold out, because I would have bought more in the future!

I've been a Nike person for 30 plus years but I won't buy anything but Brooks now. They are everything I heard them to be. Great shoes but the D width are kind of narrow.

Let me start this review off by saying I am not a runner. I use these shoes in daily life, so maybe a couple miles a day at most. I also came from the adrenaline line of brooks and those were of high comfort. I wasn't impressed by the comfort level. It's not the worst show though either, really it's just kind of in the middle which is why I gave it 3 stars. Below average for a brooks but still better than most shoes.

Like design and comfort of sneaker, also like color combination. Sneakers are very good for my feet and were recommended by my podiatrist. After workout my feet don't feel tired or sore

Good solid shoe, very comfortable. Lightweight (which is essential) Look great. Nice styling without being gaudy looking.
