I feel like there isn't much support on the inside/arch of the shoe, and the sole is already creasing. Definitely not the quality I have come to expect from Brooks.

I am a big man with chronic knee pain. As well have a previous injury to my right ankle which my ankle wants to roll over on the right side. I purchased 3 pairs of brooks in the last year strictly for comfort. The glycerin model was the softest but allowed the outside right sole to collapse. The ghost as well but not as bad. The most recent, revel 5, so far are the model for me. Comfortable and as soon as I put them on I could tell the inside of my right foot was actually compressing inward and down like there was a inside cup so to speak. So far in 1 month they have remained equal and level and no real rolling under on the right side. REVEL 5 is the one so that works the best.

Great running shoe for stability and durability. Usually run on roads and light trails, have held up!

Good running shoes that feel nice and balanced for short to long runs/jogs.

Best running shoes I?ve ever owned. I like how soft the soles are & it gives my heel support for long distance running preventing my feet from getting sore. I?d definitely recommend Brooks

They're good but I must say I like my Ghost pair better. The Ghosts seem to have more spring and cushion.

Very comfortable. Haven't run outside yet but have been great on the treadmill.

Overall, the shoe is a great bang for your buck purchase. It is comfortable and light.

My wife bought me Revels back in late 19 as a surprise gift... red Revel 3's. I have donned them from anything for gym workouts, outdoor running, running cargo holds underway (merchant marine engineer), walking the dogs, etc. They have lasted this entire time (3 years!!) AND I am just now purchasing another pair. The DNA midsole and outsole combo is fantastic, it held up this entire time steadfastly. Buy these, you will not be disappointed! Fits as described and the newer models have even more cushion than before.

I'm not a runner, but always wear Brooks for my walking which is important for this 86 year old body. The fit is great -- cushioning very important when you don't have a lot of flesh on your feet!

Love the Revel 5... reminds me how I felt running on the Revel 2. I'm faster and feel secure in my ankles with plenty of room in the toe box.

I think the Revel 5 is great. It is comfortable and runs good. I also got them on sale. The shoes are well worth the money. The Revel is not as cushioned as the Ghosts that I usually run in. But they are lighter and feel faster. They are also cheaper. They are true to size. And so far they are holding up well with little sign of wear.

So far I?ve really like the comfort of the shoes and they are just what I was looking for. I?m using them for my running marathon in Honolulu on Dec 11
