A few years ago I had severe plantar fasciitis, I tried many other brands of sneakers until I found Ghost 11. When I put them on, it was immediate relief and I purchased the ghosts almost every 6 months since that time. When the 12 came out I asked emphatically what the difference is between 11 and 12s and was told it was on the 'year'. So I continued to purchase. Then the 13 came out, then the 14s and something other than 'year' changed over that time. I always looked forward to the new Brooks arriving at my house. Now, not so much. I recently purchased a few pairs of 14s and now I'm being challenged to find the 'right' inserts so that my PF doesn't return. Not so much out of the box anymore and pretty disappointed.

These are my 11th or 12th pair of Brooks ghost shoes. I have loved them for over 12 years. However, this time the other reviews are correct. The footboard is too narrow and uncomfortable. I am really disappointed, will probably be looking for another brand of shoes that doesn?t change their sizing after years of a perfect fit.

Great shoe, but come on Brooks put some color in them shoes. The men's shoes are always do blah. The ghost 14 with the city view would have be super dope with some color. Who designs the shoes?? Lol better yet who picks the designs, they must be going through something to be picking the drab colors.

Bought these to replace the ghost 12s. I use them as my daily running shoes and I have no complaints.

Love them, wearing them now.

Comfortable to wear all day at work and for exercise

Great fit, my 5th pair of ghost. Run about 20 miles per week, wish they would last a little longer. 8 or 9 months of wear.

Love the shoe but the new style laces are terrible. They loosen and come undone multiple times a day. I?ve worn Brooks for years and have never had this issue.

I've moved to the Ghost 14 after years of wearing the Adrenaline model. Seems as I've gotten a little older the neutral feel of the Ghost feels better. Shoe is very comfortable. Most of my mileage right now is indoor because I'm in the Midwest deep freeze. Looking forward to getting outside with these soon.

I've been running in the Ghost 12. Great shoe. Upon needing to get new shoes I had to move up to the Ghost 14. Also a great show, BUT.....one big issue for me is that the traction on slick surfaces is definitely not as good. I live in Astoria, Oregon, and the Riverwalk is a perfect place for 8-10 mile runs. There several sections of old planking/decking over water and I never noticed slippage with the Ghost 12. Boy did I feel it with the Ghost 14. It was troublesome. Upon comparing the treads, there have indeed been changes and it impacts the traction on wet wood surfaces. Overall it's a minor point and most runners are going to on old wood decking, but it's a bummer that the shoes are not as perfect as my Ghost 12's.

I will have been running for 50 years on April 1 and have been a gym rat for the same. So, I have tried a number of running shoes (and what passed for running shoes way back when). Now run with a torn meniscus in both knees. These were a game changer for me. Nicely done. May be the best shoe ever for my needs.
