For some reason the sole was slipperier on smooth surfaces than other brands. The rubber is harder. Perhaps, this is why.

The size and color and comfort was great

The Ghost 14, in my opinion, are much better than the ghost 13. The 13s I wore for quite a while. The Ghost 14 I feel has a bigger toe box, and the minute you put them on you can wear them all day long! I am a hospital patient transporter, walking over 8 miles a day in the hospital, and these shoes are phenomenal. I have been told to try the Brooks Walker style, yet I cannot break away from the Ghost 14!! Not only do they give great arch support, by the end of the day my feet do not even hurt. Husband loved these shoes! Said they were the most comfortable sneakers he’s worn. The wide worked perfectly.

Awesome sneakers. When I first put them on, you could immediately feel the difference in grip. It was like getting into a 911 GT3 with Pirelli P0's. You could hear the rubber grip with each turn, throwing pebbles and tearing up the walkway. They are very well padded on the inside throughout, if I had 1 gripe, it would be the back of the sneaker is too short. When you try to pull them on, that back part always gets folded into the heel and is tough to get out as there is nothing to grab. I currently do 4 miles of walking nightly with them and they do great as opposed to some of the other recent running shoes I have purchased.

If I ever get kidnapped, I will ask my kidnapper to use my Ghost 14 laces to tie me up bc they stay tied for approximately 2.3 seconds before the come untied.
