The Brooks Addiction shoe is excellent! WE serve a population of runners in an outpatient clinic and sports medicine facility and have been recommending Brooks Addiction, Adrenaline, and sometimes the Beast for over 20 years. We get great feedback and the quality and reliability is top notch always. Thank you for offering this consistent product without changes just to be changing. I ordered these because I really enjoyed the Ghost 14 and thought that a shoe more designed for my foot would actually be better. Boy was I wrong. I'm not sure what is different but I am not a fan of this shoe. It actually hurts to run in these. Can I return them for another pair of the Ghosts I previously ordered?

For me, the Addiction GT5 shoes dont support the outside of my feet as well as the Ghost 15 shoes that I also have. My next purchase will be Ghost 15s.

I own four pairs of the Addiction 13, two of which I rotate for daily walking and two (in different colors) of which I wear for casual wear. It's the one shoe that has solved my issue with lower leg neuropathy, and was suggested by my physical therapist. It's the one she wears. I also own one pair of the Addiction 15 GTS, because the daily walking shoes are wearing out. I have four suggestions for your designers: 1) Bring back the longer tongue, as it was on the 13. It's more difficult to tie the laces on the 15 without tangling with the top edge of the tongue. 2) The 13 was no doubt a more comfortable shoe. Perhaps it's less cushioning. Perhaps it's less arch support. Perhaps it's the change in the support technology. Whatever it is, I preferred the 13. 3) The sole on both the 13 and 15 gets too slippery in the rain. Please correct that. On concrete and asphalt, it's not a problem. When I walk on marble, terrazzo, cobblestone, or mosaic pavement in Europe, I slide all over the place!!! 4) Why are you so fascinated by grey?

Tried numerous treadmill walking shoes. Nikes. Adidas. New balance. The usual suspects and couldnt ever find one that was comfortable. Was so relieved after a friend had recommended me brooks and they were perfect. Had them for about a month now. My foot pain has subsided and the treadmill sessions are no longer the most dreaded part of the day. Thanks brooks.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Poor SupportGreat Support
I have narrow feet. With this shoe, the heel is narrow, but the toe box feels a bit too wide. I think the shoe last is SL-2. Brooks/Zappos do not list shoe lasts and I wish they did. The shoe fits well enough for me, but it is not ideal.
I'd also recommend:

Good running, or in my case fast walking shoe, is unfortunate I don't have more options, I feel like I am getting the same shoe all the time, gray.

I love these shoes!!! Though most importantly is that they come in B width I also have ghost 11, as well as Adrenaline, which both also come in narrow, B width. I will continue to buy Brooks footwear, as long as they come in this narrow size. Super comfortable and great support.

Not so much technical as emotional . I believe I have found the right shoe for me after 5 years of searching. The Addiction I initially bought was 10.5 4E. However my left toe was clanging against the inside of the shoe with my second toe too long. I talked to the Brooks phone rep. She discussed about the last (many phone reps had to ask a supervisor about lasts). She recommended going to an 11 with same width. Yesterday I tried on the treadmill. And the room and space was there. It has been 5 years or more since (I used to run everyday) my wife asked not to run on the road anymore cause (like many) was concerned for safety. as a result I would have to make time around her needs to run or exercise. My feet have become a mangled mess with chasing shoes and time but now I know when I get to the gym I have a shoe that supports my time. Thank you!
