I honestly feel bad, but this is the first time I have been disappointed in an Asics product. Within a week the lining on both shoes began to fray in the back, and soon wore away completely. As such, they aren't very useful for running, since the hard plastic of the shoe frame rubs against the back of the foot. Really a shame.

Same experience as the previous review. Tread life is terrible! I've run/walked in this model for 20 years and this version is a huge let down. Only managed about 9 weeks with this pair. Filed a warranty claim.

These shoes squeak when I walk. I am returning them ASAP.

I've been running on the GT2000's for around 6 yrs now, and have had 0 issues or injuries...until now. The change to the LiteTruss support system has made these shoes less of a stability shoe, and more suited to a neutral gait. Given that I need the stability support due to flat feet and pronation, I have ended up with knee and lower back / pelvis pain after 2-3 weeks of running in these. I'm switching back to my GT2000 9's until I can find either another new pair of 8-9's or until I find an alternative brand. This change sucks - why did you have to ruin a good thing ASICS?

I'm not sure if they changed the design with the GT-2000 10 or if they made the change on the GT-2000 9. My last pair was the GT-2000 8.
They have removed the rigid plastic piece on the sole that gave the GT-2000 great support for low or fallen arches. These things are UNCOMFORTABLE and my legs are in pain after 10-miles. My 6-month old GT-2000 8, that are losing their bounce, are much much better than these brand new shoes.
I hope they change back to the old design, if not I'll need to change my brand because these WILL not work for low arches.

Never seen a sneaker where the treads are glued on a are peeling off after 1 week of use. I would add photos but for some reason the review won't let me

I thought ASICS was a serious running shoe company. The sole of this shoe is so squishy it's like running through mud. After two runs this pair is relegated to the bottom of the closet and I'm back to my beloved but 3 year old runners from a competitor.
