Very comfortable which is the main thing I care about. The size is a bit small. My biggest issue is the laces have already started to fray and it's been a little over a week. Laces are cheap enough to replace, but it is a pain; curious if the rest of shoe will last.

Wonderful and consistent Asics fit and comfort level. It is so great to figure out your size and consistently be able to buy shoes in the line-up. Only complaint, the laces are a little short, and they are smooth, which means double-knotting to keep them from slipping during a run.

I have been a Gel-Nimbus users for the last 3 generations. I use the shoes mostly for cross-fit and not so much for outright running. I just bought the GT-2000 10 because it a purports to have more stability than the Gel-Nimbus. I agree that it does. It is slightly less cushiony than Gel-Nimbus 22 or 23, but is more stable. So far so good for cross-fit. But if I were strictly a runner, I'd get the Gel-Nimbus.
I'd also recommend:

Well I am a woman who has had to try to find men's shoes that would fit properly and give me more with and a little better arch support. This has been a very challenging goal over the last several years. That's why I am so thankful for Zappos because money isn't lost and they make it so easy on the returns or exchanges. I had to do an exchange on this I thought a 10 and a half would be perfect but it wasn't I had to go up to 11. That's what I wear in women's shoes. I think all that is changing these days but I digress. The point is I like these. Their lightweight there's a reasonable support and that extra width across the upper part of my foot is there. I had been focusing too much on the arch support rather than trying something for a wider width. I guess it's men's shoes for me from now on maybe they'll get a little prettier these days. ? I was also focusing too much on more cushion and ending up with hocus that are like walking on marshmallows. I don't know how people can walk with those but I suppose they're more for running. Nevertheless it wouldn't help me. Oh yeah that's another thing I really like about these Asics...the way that the ankle support cups underneath my ankle it's perfect! I guess I'm back to being an Asics fan at least for the time being.
All in all I'm happy
Thank you Zappos! You're the best!

Great shoes, VERY expensive!! My wife got two pairs of asics women's running shoes for less than what I spent on this one pair of Men's running shoes!

Purchased these as running shoes after reading the reviews about them being really comfortable. They are extremely comfortable and feel good on my feet. My only negative is that they feel quite a bit heavier than my Noosa Tri-13s I had before. Not a big deal and probably a little bit of a mental hurdle. Overall these may become my everyday shoe and I'll purchase a lighter shoe for running.

Awesome, a snug fit so far for the first month which is nice. Incredible relief compared to last shoe. A decently wide feel and minimal arch support which is very accommodating for my wide feet,

Overall what I expected! Very comfortable, reasonably supportive, decent grip. Only thing I'd say is that the arch support is actually lacking in comparison GT-2000 9.

Great trainer. Great fit in the front. Durable. I have loved adding it to my rotation.

Comfortable and true to size guide; however, you do feel significant impact on the balls of your feet. Otherwise, happy with the purchase and colors.

The shoe is fairly comfortable when running, however the shoe laces that came with the shoes are a bit too long. I need to purchase a new set of laces soon, I was riding my bike and. One of the laces got caught in the chain and tore a part of the lace in one area.

A very comfortable running shoe. I have an older generation of the same. The original ones were very well built and durable. Present ones, I do not think that they last as long. Also, these felt a bit tight/narrow at the dorsum of my feet.

Nice fit, comfortable, good looking...The only question is that the heel rubber that meets the road used to be a single piece now its three pieces about the size of a quarter...Hope it holds up.

Great running walking shoe with one minor flaw. The super soft material used around the cuff at the heel has frayed and worn after just a few miles in them. Otherwise, lightweight, great support, and everything I've loved about Asics running shoes since 1987.

Lightweight and moderately stable shoe with very little arch support. The forefoot feels slightly elevated (compared to the heel when standing or walking) and is very 'squishy' with much cushioning between the combo of the Flytefoam cushioning and the plush insole. This makes the forefoot feel slightly unstable while walking (almost having to power through all the cushioning by stepping harder). The heel is stable with a slightly more firm cushioning. This shoe seems good for the forefoot or midfoot strike runner and is ideal for speed. Design and styling is great with many nice color options. 4 star review due to highly cushioned forefoot foam and insole that causes some discomfort. Overall I enjoy running in the GT-2000, however all day comfort/walking not so much. It is a running shoe after all. Reviewer is M/39yrs/76"/195lbs.

Best GT yet. The perfect balance of stability and cushion. Been wearing it since it came out in the 80 's . Best one so far

Pretty great shoe overall. Only downside I have so far is the heel cup isn't super comfortable out of the box. I'm hoping it breaks in but haven't had this problem with other models. We shall see.

Unlike other brands, the constantly updated GT-2000 has been remarkably consistent in fit and feel as it has evolved over the last several years. I'm a little disappointed in this evolution. It is lighter and the cushioning is better. But there is less room in the shoe and it it tighter on the top of the foot, no matter how loose the laces are pulled. Not a big deal for some. But if you have a wider foot or wear an orthotic like me, it is a tight squeeze. Takes away from the comfort of a wonderful run. Other than that, a great shoe.

ASICS changed their design for the base of the shoe. As a longtime ASICS GT-2000 wearer, I have to say that it feels like they skimped. It's all foam and the support that was there in the arch and center of the foot, is seemingly gone. It's a much different feel and it comes across as feeling cheaper. The rubber sole also seems like they've decreased the thickness of each pad. Disappointed.
