Love them great for the treadmill or just walking in the mall

I have been pleasantly pleased with the Kayano 28 model. Very comfortable, nice styling and it seems like they have made improvements on the front section covering the toes - I haven't noticed any creasing or folding. One wish is for that section to cover a little more area as I inevitably wear a hole above the big toe. All things considered, I am still a big fan of ASICS.

the toe bed is dented in after 10k run but i guess that can happen to any shoe however, the GT 2000 has better cushion...that just my opinion

This shoe feels a lot like the Nimbus but were the Nimbus is more light and agile, this one feels more solid and provides better support but its also a bit heavier. I think it makes a great shoe as a trainer for beginner runners or those who need more support/cushion. The nimbus is better for people who already know what they need and need a lighter running shoe. I love both but right now I had some problems with my ankle so the Kayano is much better for me.

Comfortable sneaker - makes me want to run - and I like the color combination! Would definitely buy them again - and it was a great price!

Have had two pairs of 28s prior to this pair and they were great shoes. Great stability and enjoyed the bouncy and soft Cushion they provided. For some reason this particular pair had zero bounce or softness and actually caused me to develop knee pain. I contacted customer service to see if i could get a replacement and did nothing more than read to me the return policy and could have cared less if i was satisfied with my purchase. Asics is a multi-million dollar global company and could try to make things right with me. I ran in the shoes maybe 5-6 times so i wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone- my shoes were truly uncomfortable. I am not happy and will go back to Saucony.

Plenty wide as well as the maximum cushion. I do prefer the hard tip per models a few years ago vs the current soft tip

Hands down the most consistent sizing ever! Year after year these comfy trainers fit perfectly from heel to toe.

Fit perfectly, feel good I walked 2 hrs every day and feet feel good.

Comfortable, use these to officiate high school basketball. Good grip on the hardwood floor, lightweight, well cushioned.

I've been using the Kayano model since #18. I like the changes made to the 28. For example, the forefoot has alittle a more cushion, which makes it feel like the shoe turns over faster. The toebox is rounded again versus being pointy in the 27. The midfoot area does not feel as stiff but in a good way. The ONLY things I don't like is that it fits like a 2E instead of 4E (my normal size) and in the tongue area it is tight on the top of my foot when laced. This normally happens when I wear a tight fitting shoe. I tried to break in the shoes with a 1 hr recovery, 1 hr tempo, and a 3 hr run but still feels tight. Sadly, I will not use these for the marathon which is in 3 weeks. I will have to resucitate my Kayano 27s for just one more run. On a positive note, shoes are great for walking.
