Very comfortable and light. The materials breath well. Great for running or just sitting around and relaxing.

Switched from Nike Pegasus because Nike doesn't do most of their shoes in wide sizes. This shoe fits my feet perfectly. I have problems with overpronation and the cushion/design work perfectly to alleviate issues I've had with other shoes. It's the most comfortable running shoe I've ever purchased.

I like the comfort and shock protection. I almost fell from my treadmill as one of my airpods came off. But Kayanos helped me get back.

Excellent update to the Kayano. At first, I was skeptical about the change to the support system, but after wearing the new Kayano 28 I can see what the engineers at Asics were up to. It's a wonderfully supportive and attractive re-design. Highly recommended.

Im disabled so I need shoes that don't hurt my feet. These had a weird feeling on the left sole. Like it was probably a defect but I never replaced it. I love asics so will go Nimbus. I tested them and that was what I should have gotten

The upper fabric breaks when you bend at the forefoot, rubbing my big toes. A pretty significant downgrade from the kayano of just a few years ago.

After ten years, I’m sad to say I’m parting ways with my go-to Kayanos. Until the 28, they’ve been consistently comfortable and I’ve had no complaints. A week before an ultra, my new Kayano 28s gave me huge blisters in each of my inner heels about 5 miles into my run. I wear the Wide size and now can’t find a 27 in that size anywhere, and not sure what to do. Very disappointed.

Overall the shoe is satisfactory, however after only a week of walking, not running, bits of the tread started separating from the sole. It's only in a few places now, but I wonder what it will be like in six months. I had noticed negative reviews about this shoe for the same reason before I purchased, but I thought it was and isolated problem.

As good a pronation control shoe as the Kayano 24 and Kayano 26, but with a little extra softness and bounce

I have been running in the Gel Kayano since the Gel Kayano 15. This shoe has been changed quite a bit. Looks like Asics is trying to copy the Brooks Glycerin with the guide rails they are using for stability. I am really disappointed with this shoe. I bought 2E and it's still narrow in the toe box and the instep doesn't seem high enough. I had problems with Morton's Neuroma and got rid of it by running in the past issues of the Kayanos. No foot problems Kayano 15 through 27. Kayano 28 the foot problem is back. Guess I will try the Saucony stability shoes. I've had success with the Hurricane and Omni in the past. In closing all I can say is put this shoe back the way it was.

Comfortable, light, solid grip, and very nice appeal. Loved Kayano 27s, and I now love the 28s.

The fitting issue caused by my inserts has been solved by getting the same size in wide and loosening the laces significantly. Very comfortable. The return and new order process was simple and no problem.

Love the shoe, hate the fit. The pair I was sent were at least two sizes too small. Returned them and hoping it was just that pair. Normally the Kayanos are great.

I am a fifty year old habitual runner who stands 6'6" and weights ~280lbs. I wear a size 16 (4E) shoe. I was hesitant to purchase the GEL-Kayano 28, as I was so pleased with the 27 that I bought every available color scheme. I wondered what, if anything, Asics could do to improve on that model. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The 28's heel box offers a much more secure fit than the 27's and my foot strike feels less jarring. The GEL-Kayano 28 has replaced its predecessor as my go-to running shoe! Now, I'm just waiting on the new color schemes!
