I have bought a new pair of Gel Kayano every year since version probably 12. I am usually a size 9 in every other shoe but I have always gotten a size 8 1/2 in this. This year I got the new version in 8 1/2 and it was huge even compared to my old ones. I tried the 8's which were also too big, so I settled with a 7 and 1/2 and the fit was ok. I bought two pairs: One for outside walking and one for indoor workouts. I walked twice in them and got the worse blisters on my heel where the insole meets the side of the shoe. I have NEVER had Gel Kayanos do this. So luckily I hadn't used the indoor ones yet and will return those and hopefully deal with this pair for workouts. So disappointed after years of loving this shoe.

The Kayano 28's are my first pair of ASICS and I couldn't be happier with them. They provide great support and feel great regardless of whether or not I do speed or distance work.

Love my shoe my shoes. My first pair of Asics. Much need relief for my feet. Need shoes that would not hurt me at the end of the day. I work as a Nurse am always on my feet.

Some of the previous reviews stated that the sizing had changed from previous models. I would disagree with those statements. These fit true to size, another awesome pair of shoes pumped out by the folks at Asics.

I ordered a GEL-Kayano® 28 size 11. The tongue tag showed it was an 11 but also showed is as 43.5. I have the same show only older at a size 10.5. It shows as 44.5. How did the size 11 get smaller?

So far these shoes seem ok. Was hesitant to order fro y’all as the On shoes I ordered previously for myself were not true to size. I have several pairs that I purchased at a retail outlet that are the same size and fit fine. I keep trying to wear these and I have decided it was a bad purchase.

Let’s be honest, most modern shoes are ugly and they don’t carry the all black in my size.

Extra cushion, shoe fits the same as my Kayano 27s. Cushion is softer. I wear a hard to fit size; 15 4E. I love being able to order shoes my size and know they will fit when they arrive. Thanks ASICS.

Hi, I have worn Nike forever, since grade school. I recently bout a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano 28 and I love them. I went to put on my old Nike air max to do some work in and I threw them away, it was like walking on bricks!! I commend you for such a great product and wish i would have bought them sooner!!! You have a customer for life and I will buy NOTHING but your shoes!!!!

They are stable, have great cushion, and support my feet. I had surgery on my foot and have no problem walking in these shoes. They are very wide, which accommodate my extra wide feet. I wish they came in a wider range of colors.

I really like the shoe and it is comfortable but the tongue isn't wide enough to stay under the laces for me. I still prefer my two year old GT-1000 and will probably go back to that line.

These sneakers are SOOOO cushiony and comfortable - I haven't had a long walk in them yet but I can't wait, I feel so much energy wearing these! I need a wide width due to bunyans and these are wide where I need it at the ball of my foot and fit great everywhere else.

It is hard to find shoes that fit wide in the midfoot area. These fit great. The soles maybe a little on the soft side, but they are great shoes. I will probably buy again when needed.

These shoes make my knees hurt. I have a flat foot and these shoes don't help in anyway tbh. Like the feel comfortable because they are wide but I'm in pain after walking with them
