Same great fit and feel as previous GEL-Kayano I bought. Love all the reflective features. I don't remember that being in the description but it's a big + for me since I an often on the road at night. I'd like them to be more red than orange or whatever color they are but the are definately high-visibility which is what I was going for.

Wearing Gel Kayanos are like walking on air. These shoes have been great.

So much better than the 27s, which I had problems with.

I've owned over 5 generations of the shoes and I've never been disappointed.

I love this shoe model and its.one of my favoritecolors. I have a few older pairs that are worn and need replacing. I just do not like the new fabric these shoes are made of. Changing the material does not work for me. Sorry!

After some 20 years of wearing Gel-Kayanos, this is the first time I have been disappointed. The fit has changed. All these years I've worn a 9.5 regular and now, suddenly, the shoe is too big. My feet are swimming and the shoes feel like a boat. I don't think my feet have changed! But your specifications for the build of the shoe - or quality control regimen!! - apparently have. It's very disappointing and shakes my confidence in ASICS.

Never owned a pair of Asics before, so I had no idea how they would fit. I am very pleased that they come in extra wide widths. I love red and black together and was so happy they were available in the size and width I needed.

Longtime ASICS runner. The new insoles make me feel like I am running on marshmallows. I prefer something firm beneath my feet.

Really nice shoe, great flexible fit and cushioning is outstanding. Feels good to wear them.

Shoe is very very narrow- much more than my previous Gel Kayanos which is aggravating- oh well back to Hoka wides

So this is the 3rd or 4th pair of 28s - I can't honestly keep track - other than I got this pair and another within two weeks. Yes the 29 is coming out, but I've always been a Kayano fan - some years/versions better than others - and only abandoned for a phase where the toe box was really tight. The 28s have been solid, consistent, comfortable, long-wearing. Waiting for the heat/humidity to drop-off, to really put some miles on these and the back-up pair.

Comfortable, good looking, well- crafted and will last for a long time (based on my 3 previous pairs of Kayanos purchased 3 years ago) Have purchased this brand over many years and find them superior to other brands.

They are comfortable but the side to side stability is a bit sloppy in my opinion. Will I still wear ASICS? Yes, they are my absolute go to but I do prefer the 27 model over the 28.

Very comfortable and light. Some of the best shoes I have had from ASICS in a long time.

Very comfortable overall, but i get blisters on the inside of my heel. Apparently older iterations of the kayano also caused this issue for some people.
