I purchased two pair of these shoes. One pair fit perfectly like so many ASIC sneakers i have owned over the years. The second pair caused significant irritation on my heal near the inner sole. I am not able to use the second pair. I submitted a warranty form, and since there is no VISIBLE defect, ASICS will not correct the issue. Instead they sent me an extensive email on how to properly tie my shoes. NOT WORTH THE CHANCE.

Good looking shoes but the heel support crumpled after wearing them twice. now I have a pair of shoes that are uncomfortable to wear

Looks nice and fits perfectly. This model impoves on the previous model. A bit longer and narrower.

the 27 are better shoes then the 28 gel-kayano. sssssssssssssssssssss

Comfortable shoe. Helped a lot with knee pain from my old worn-down sneakers. I had the Gel Kayano 26s and I liked them so much that when it came time for new sneakers, I did not hesitate to buy the updated model.

Ran 9 miles with them right off the bat, an improvement over my Kayano 26s. LOVE THEM!!!

Not as comfortable as the previous ones. I have used Gel- Kayano's for running for the past 30 years, unfortunately the 28 model is not comfortable.

I remember when I first stepped into the Gel Kayano 26, how it was just magical. I didn't realize my feet could be so ridiculously comfortable, and the shoes literally worked in any circumstance. After wearing them everyday for 1.5 years I replaced them with gel kayano 27, which were good. Not nearly the same though. I had faith in ASICS and tried again now with gel kayano 28, such a mistake. They're not uncomfortable, they just don't feel like they provide nearly enough support. Working in healthcare, I stand and walk all day every day, and then go to the gym in the same shoes. These shoes are barely adequate for that. So insanely disappointed in ASICS, and mildly angry that they won't make the wonderful old models (ie. Gel kayano 26)!!

so far they have been great, they have great cushion yet they feel stable. cannot comment on longevity yet, hopefully they didn't compromise durability to save weight. we'll see

An excellent cushioned stability shoe. I had not run in Asics shoes for decades, but the Kayano 28 is an outstanding shoe.

Excellent shoes. I wear these shoes for everyday purposes. They are extremely comfortable and supportive.

I'm 6'7, 250lbs, with size 15 feet. They are incredibly comfortable running shoes, and my feet are thankful for the support they provide on longer runs.

Excellent quality sneakers, very soft on the feet...I recommend!

Best to road running shoe. Great stability and still comfortable. Use them for intervals, long and fast runs.

They feel roomy and comfortable for my wide feet. Would buy another color as well.
