The most comfortable model in years. Been wearing since the 18 model and comfort level is finally back.

This is my second pair of Kayanos. Love the way they feel and fit.

I wore out my Gel Kayano 27's and bought the 28's. They just aren't as comfortable. My feet and knees are not fans of this shoe for some reason. I also don't feel like they have as much support for over-pronators.

Unfortunately the shoes did not fit well and I have had to see a physician and they suggested another shoe. I was disappointed as I have worn Asics all of my running career. So my practically new Asics are no longer being used and sitting in my shoe pile. I had to move to Hoka's per suggestion of my physician.

This is my 2nd pair of Gel-Kayano running shoes and I love them! My pastor is an avid runner for many years and recommend these shoes to me. So comfortable and supportive while running or walking. So long NIKE !!!

The 28 series are not the same. I believe I received a defective pair but with no visible issues. Left shoe would roll to the side. I called Customer Support and received a tabloid answer-send us pictures of the defect. I did not expect such a poor interaction. No one wanted even to discuss the issue with me. I have been customer for life but because of this experience, my purchasing choices are changing. ASICS might have made money on this pair but will loose in a long run. Disappointing!

I try other shoes which are ok but always come back to the Kayano,Well cushioned,stable and reasonably long lasting .At 78 i don't take shock well and i used to get 600+ out of Kayano's but now i'm pushing at 500.I'll see how this one holds up.I'm slow now but still run 30-35 per week.Used to be 60-70 when i was running marathons(102 total).

I recently ordered the gel Kayano 28 in 2E (extra wide) for my dad and this shoe has been a game changer! They're very comfortable for daily use and the wide toe box has really eased his foot and knee pain

Great support without feeling like you have them on. My feet tend to look for a reason to hurt and these shoes have helped so much.

Thankfully the Kayano is back in the 28, after a down year with the 27.

Excellent shoe, wish they were easier to order online in Canada, or the US site would just ship there

Ok shoes. Nothing special. Arch support minimum.not good for plantar fasciitis.

Very light and comfortable. Good arch support. Only minus is the shoestrings being thought to lessen after untying laces. The elastic in the strings makes it thought to get your fingers under them.

After decades of high standards and steady improvements in shock absorption and stability, this 28th edition of the Mens Kayano had a soft heel cup, less structure to the outsole heel/arch bridge, and shorter wall of reinforcement around the heel. It looked and felt more in line with a 1000 series model. Now I have to find another straight last high performance shoe to rely on. I am very disappointed. Len E.

I have used Gel-Kayano for at least 12 years and have improved every years. It's go to shoes when I ran.

I have been buying only Gel-Kayano's for the past 8 years or so, and they have been amazing (which is why I keep coming back to them) Unfortunately with this version, number 28, there is something in the heal design that is blistering and tearing up my feet??? I thought it had to be something else at first because I've never had an issue with Gel-Kayano's, but it is the shoe heal design. I can't even wear them to a store without pain.

Great comfortable shoe that actually fits like an extra wide shoe.

Very Comfortable and Supportive Shoe. Normally I wear the GT 2000 but am impressed with the greater cushioning this shoe offers.
