Great daily trainer. The upper fits perfectly. The FF blast midsole is the highlight and the bounce and cushion is unlike any other shoes. They have become my go-to pair of shoes for long, recovery, and threshold runs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the way they look. I personally think they are the ugliest pair of running shoes I own, but they are also the best daily trainers I own. Form over fashion.

The toe box on the left shoe is sewn incorrectly which makes it crease into the toe when you walk causing irritation. The right shoe is perfect. This is my second pair. They are Amazon except for this flaw in this shoe. I am returning these.

I purchased a half size down, and while happy with that the toe box is a little tight for me, otherwise this would of easily been a 5 star review. I got it for my long easy runs, but i seem to always get speedy in it.

My experience with the NOVABLAST shoe has been great. So I stepped up and purchased the NOVABLAST 2, still a great shoe with some noticeable differences. The heel is much more secured (which is good)), the heel to toe drop from 10mm to 8mm is noticeable for me. Finally the shoe is more snug, so your might consider 1/2 sizing up. My running days are behind me and use the shoes for walking and put on 5 to 8 miles a day. I still recommend the NOVABLAST collection, for their great spring they put in your step. I gave these a four rating to bring attention to the difference in the changes in the model line.

Overall this is a comfortable daily trainer with decent energy return that allows for quicker than usual pace with similar perceived effort. Pros: very comfortable upper, great midsole padding, good traction, and overall durability seems superior to most Hoka's I've bought Cons: Not crazy exciting (not boring necessarily) but doesn't feel like anything special underfoot. The big problem that made me give it 4 stars is it rolls my foot inward. I've been a neutral runner for 20 years. I've never seen my foot so this but I can see and feel my foot roll inward, especially when walking a cool down. My knees have hurt after 6-8 mile runs when they didn't in the gliderides or Mach 4s. Just kind of odd

Loved my original Novablasts and was totally psyched to try these. The cushioning is awesome, better than the original but the shoe is so narrow and tight, it's unwearable for me. I kept wearing them around the house hoping to convince myself it wasn't as bad as I thought. It is and I had to return them. If you're lucky for these to fit, you're going to love them, but if you don't have a very narrow foot, I wouldn't even bother trying these.

Very comfortable, with meh quality. Upon arrival there was a lot of glue visible on the sole.

This is my third pair of Novablast 2's, first two pair in black. I slipped those on and out the door I went for a 8 mile ride. Fit was perfect without any need for a break in period. Decided to order one more pair at the sale price to get me through until the 3's were available. Went with a different color, same size as the first two and boy they are TIGHT!!! I even triple checked the tag and width and everything matches the first two pairs. Have 50 miles on these and even going sockless I absolutely cannot wear them. I love the Novablast model but this pair will sit in the closet.

It is a well-cushioned shoe, but very unstable while running.

I love the look of the shoe. Instead of ordering my regular size 7 1/2 for Asics I went by the chart which told me to size up to an 8. They made my feet look huge. I changed my mind and decided to go with something else in a 7 1/2.

Compared to the novoblast model that preceded this item, the sole is harder at the Center which is an advantage in my experience.

Very stylish shoe that has plenty of cushioning and bounce. The rebound that this gives is really good, and not squishy like some other brands that have foam mid-soles...especially considering I am 6'1", 295lbs. My only complaints are: They are a bit narrow. I usually wear the Nimbus line and the whole shoe and toe box fits tighter than the Nimbus. And for some reason my toes feel like they are falling asleep in this shoe... the weird thing is that it only occurs in the right shoe. The left shoe is fine. The shoe does not feel too tight to be causing this, but rather feels like maybe the toe bed is stiffer or different in some way than the left shoe. I am hoping that it will resolve itself with more wear and breaking in. Final conclusion is that this shoe is really nice, stylish, and comfortable. It would be worthy of a 5 star review if I wasn't having this issue with my toes going numb in the right shoe. So for now I will give it 3 star. If the shoe breaks in and that goes away I will revise my rating.

This shoe is how do I put it, ehhh. You wont be wowed by it . It is ok for a shoe just to log miles but their are cheaper alternatives that do the same thing.

Not a bad shoe but not the right one for me. Was looking for more cushioning for my aging knees but need more structure than this shoe provides. Made my knees worse, not better because they were absorbing stresses from directions my knees were not used to. Will need to seek another solution to keep running.

I wasn't a fan of these . I have been training in the Noosa tri 13's and racing in the metaspeed sky, these were a bit to heavy and clunky feeling for my liking . I returned and got another pair of Noosa's

Although this show is is comfortable it has no arch support at all! This show is not meant for those who have low to no arches.

I gave the Novablast a try a couple of years ago and loved the first pair I tried. Out of the box the toe spring gave me a good push forward and saw a nice improvement in my 5k time. However the toe spring must have been an issue with manufacturing because replacement shoes did or did not have this feature. I switched back to Nike's but decided to give the Novablast 2 a chance. Out of the box my 5k times were the slowest in a long time. They removed the toe spring and did nothing to give you any push off your stride. It is just a flat footed shoe now.

I think this is a good shoe with the right idea but the execution isn't quite right for me yet. The main issues are: 1. the heal drop is too high compared to the competition. I believe that this lends to some stability issues out on the roads. 2. The materials and fit and finish isn't up to the competition. After 40 miles the inner heal cup split open from rubbing. None of my other shoes (at the same price point) did this, even after 350+ miles each. Despite that, I like the cushioning and bounce. This shoe could be great but I'm not sure I'll buy again.
