Great recovery shoe for me after breaking my leg. So far I've mainly just used them in PT and haven't done any running in them, but that's what I got them for. The soft, yet stable, foam soles should be great to get back into things and provide a bit more cushion then my gel-excite 8's, which I also love. I wish the toes of the shoes didn't purse up as much from a fashion perspective, but from an athletic perspective I couldn't care less and it actually gives me strong Japanese vibes for some reason and not just because that's where the brand's from. Anyway awesome shoes for training, highly recommend.

Very cushioned and great fit. Amazing for long runs and recovery days. Lots of toe box space.

A lot more stable, I don't overpronate as much, shoes still have a great bounce.

I think it runs half size large. My priority is maximum cushion and comfort and this shoe brings it. If you add good response when pick up the pace then you have an excellent daily trainer.

This absolutely the most comfortable shoe Asics has ever made!! It's like walking or running on a cloud. I can wear this shoe from daylight to dark with no problem at all. My feet and legs feel so good wearing the Novablast!

Male, 5'7" 175 lbs, size 9, daily weight training, run daily. I only run in this shoe. Amazing, love them. Rotate with the Novablast and Novablast 2s. Love them both but the Novablast 2 is a high end daily trainer. The Novablast 2 takes the initial impact of the foot plant away and returns some of that energy to the push off. Its a plush luxurious feeling that invites me to keep running. Just a spectacular thing this shoe! This new version has many thoughtful refinements. Its a neutral shoe but has much stability engineered in. The midsole has a soft plushness about it but not squishy or mushy. To throw in an automotive suspension analogy, Its like a well valved coilover shock that has a perfect dual rate spring and just right compression and rebound dampening.

soft but yet responsive, I have approximately 120 miles on and hardly any wear. Shoe laces are the right length, tongue is perfect in length and thickness. I ran a 28 mile run a couple of weeks ago, no hot spots, felt awesome the entire way. Just enough room in the toe box so it is not restricting, I do not have wide feet. No heel slipping, I was able to get a good lockdown using the standard lacing.

Very comfortable! Much more stable than the first version. The upper is more comfortable than the first version too. A good pair for daily training or easy days

I've tried a lot of running shoes this year looking for the best. Novablast 2 are the best cushion running shoe of 2021.

Pretty amazing training shoe. Loved it from day one which was 3 weeks ago. Highly recommended.

Great midsole, feels bouncy with lots of energy return. This shoe works well for a variety of runs. I find myself reaching for it often when lacing up.

Excellent shoe, perfect for everyday training. Very comfortable and a lot of cushion. Huge improvement from the first Novablast. Highly recommend it.

great update to an already great shoe. love the fit and feel of the shoe and great for all kinds of training.

Outstanding job by ASICS to improve upon the sloppy heel fit and stack height with Novablast 1011A681.020; still logged over 300 miles. Primary running surface asphalt; foot type: high arch; body height: 140 lbs; frequency 3 to 4 runs per week distance 4 miles to 6 miles. I rotate between Style #: 1011B192.100 and Style #: 1011B306.960. This shoe is that good. Very pleased with these shoes. Well done ASICS!

their awesome. super soft but responsive at the same time. very versatile show. i do ez runs in them while i will also take them for tempos

They fit like a glove 5-star all the way.. I had the First Novablast and they were great but these are 100x better .. Nice job ASICS

After reading all of the positive reviews this shoe was getting I wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed! There is plenty of cushioning without feeling super soft and I feel adequate support. I have only taken this up to a 10 mile run but I would not hesitate to go further.

Just started running again after 10 years off. Only doing short intervals at a slow jog, but these shoes are perfect. Great cushioning and rebound. Comfortable upper and secure fit. I can't think of anything that could improve on these. Asics Please do not change! Tried several Hoka and NB and these were the best.

Love this shoe. Perfect for everyday mileage. This shoe is so fun and bouncy. Yes, it is on the heavy side but the midsole is fantastic and the upper foots my foot great and is super comfortable. I've never taken this shoe out for a tempo run but that's not what I bought it for so I don't intend to. Now, strip this puppy down and give me a 7-8oz Novablast Light!!!!

Great shoe in terms of recovery and ability to run faster easier

Very smooth, comfortable ride without feeling unresponsive. I took 15 seconds off my miles the first time using these. Best shoe I've tried in 2021.

Improvement over the original, mainly more stable. Now I like this better than the Gel Nimbus Lite 2.
