These boots are super comfortable and have great traction for hiking. I would highly recommend.

Based upon my experience with other HOKA shoes, I decided to try their Anacapa Mid GTX for a planned vacation in the west that will require extensive hiking. As soon as these arrived I decided to begin the break-in so they would be ready for the real trip. Well that was a wasted thought since these shoes feel great right out of the box. Light, excellent lateral support, breathable, and total comfort. You actually could use these as your daily casual walkers and never think twice. I am very pleased with the total look and feel and can not wait to use these on the terrain that they were designed to handle.

I wish you guys made composite or steel toe shoes like these I would only buy these to work in,overall great shoe !!

Used them on camping trips and on snowy days. Waterproof and comfy!! I went up a 1/2 size. Love them so much.

My son bought these before an overseas trip we took, and he walked at least 10 miles a day with no problem. He loves them, and they look great!

Use the shoes for walks this winter. The water proof will be good when the streets and trails start melting. The tread is good on the snow and ice.

Purchased last month, have walked/hiked about 20 or so miles so far and my feet feel great. Tons of room in the toe box and great heel support. The ankle support is just good enough, nothing to write home to mom about. The midsole is super comfy with tons of cushion. The outer sole is super tacky where there's vibram. Seriously Hoka, I get trying to save weight, but I'm happy to carry a few extra ounces for a full sole of mega grip. Over all I'm super happy and I would recommend.

I've tried many shoes that say they have good arch support & comfortable fit. I ordered the anacapa & simply love them. Great arch support & fit. I have flat feet & when I got them & put them on I felt great. My feet feel good & my leg fatigue is minimal.

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas. He was in a horrible work accident on May 18th, 2021. He fell from a deck 15 ft straight down onto concrete. He broke both ankles, shattered his right heel and broke both Calcaneus bones. He was bedridden for 3 months and the surgeon said he'd never be the same. That he'd be stuck behind a desk to work for the rest of his life. They were right that things will never be the same for him, but they were wrong about his limitations. Hokas are the ONLY shoes he buys and can walk normally in! The only shoes he doesn't hurt in! (Since he literally blasted his feet pads off). He's a musician and he did 2 tours back to back last year playing shows every single night. But only in the his Hokas! He has plenty of the shoes, but he really loves these boots for the winter!

I can wear these all day without discomfort.

Suffering from Hallux Rigidus in the toes and I need footwear that does not put pressure on the toes and has a curved shape. I already own Brooks running shoes which are fantastic but they do not make a Hiking Boot that works for me. I had tried a pair of Hoka boots on in the store and immediately felt the comfort I needed. Luckily for me, my wife then purchased these boots as a Christmas present. They are excellent, rigid enough with no pressure under the toe area. Great in the snow, warm and waterproof. Plus they look great. Highly recommended.

These are my winter shoes for getting around. They are very waterproof, warm, and have a great grip in most conditions. Could hope for a little softer feel but are performing quite well for what I was looking for.

Great shoe

Light weight and comfortable.

I walk 23,000+ steps a day in a cement floor warehouse. I needed something that would be comfortable and last. So far, these fit the bill. Took a good week to break in. I did add insoles because the factory ones are just horrible(as with any shoe) one thing to note is I'm usually a 13w. Site said 13 would work. It is a little snug but no blisters. Will buy again

Very comfortable shoe

I use these for work, I have had quite the collection of tactical boots/shoes multiple brands in search of the most comfortable fit. These have since become my new favorite pair!

These things are insane, light, comfortable and ready for New England winters. I hope the durability is there, they are wide enough without being too wide and as I get older and deal with bunionettes from other footwear, so far these have been really nice and wasy to wear. Love the feel and how they move, and I think I found my new go too boot/shoe and will be buying more!
