After purchasing two pairs of Bondi 7's and a pain of Kaha GTX hiking boots, I don't think these stand up to muser for this high price.

They look more stylish on the website but once I got them I wasn't really that happy with the design. they are comfortable but I have to tie the shoes all the time also the feel a bit too big.

I got these about three weeks ago as I love HOKA and wanted a pair of waterproof shoes for living and working in the snow. They perform great but I am getting blisters between my big and second toes on both feet because the smack my toes together. My Speedgoat 5s are super comfy but the Anacapa Lows are simply too narrow. I'd like to exchange for a wider Goretex HOKA shoe but all seem to run narrow.

I bought these for my son in a size 10.5, he wears a 10.5 in Hoka Clifton, these were way too big. Had my husband try them on and he wears a 11.5 in Bondi, and he said his feet were swimming in them. So, they had to be returned.

I received the shoes and had them for about 2 weeks and worn for casual walking only and the sole began falling off. I glued it the first time but when the 2nd and 3rd spots began falling off I had had enough and returned them.

I have purchased nine pairs of Hoka's over the years. Recently purchased the Anacapa Low Goretex model for an upcoming vacation that will have a lot of walking. First the good news - I like the new color (duffle bag), they have excellent lateral stability and overall quality that one should expect for the price of Hoka's. Now the cautionary info - This model has very poor arch support, heel cushioning and they tend to be very stiff on the first few wearings. I 'fixed' them with a Dr. Sch...ls heavy duty insoles and replaced the inadequate Hoka supplied insoles. I believe this will resolve the issue, but time will tell.

Probably the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve owned. I bought these shoes for work. The break in period lasted a couple of weeks and was painful at times. Now almost two months later they are just uncomfortable. The shoes look good, but I don’t think style is more important than comfort.

I use these Anacapa shoes for walking. Mainly on side walks. Since I found Hoka shoes to be narrow for me, I went a half size larger and the fit was great. These are definitely my most comfortable pair of shoes. However, after a year of normal wear, the shoes are beginning to crack and develop holes. I would have thought a shoe made for hiking would last longer. Especially since I only walk on sidewalks, and not trails. I can't remember having any pair of shoes wearing out so quickly.

I purchase 1 pair of Clifton 8 size 12 fit perfect
But the Trail shoes which are also size 12 are way too big and they fall off my feet - can't wear them.

Grip is good but the comfort is terrible. If you deliver packages I would not recommend these.

The back portion is coming un-glued in the same spot on the inside of each shoe. I've hiked in them for a total of 3 days so there's no excuse for this. Now I have to go through the return process and wait 2-3 weeks for a refund so I can buy a new pair of hiking shoes from a different company. I loved these, but I need something that will actually last as I generally put a lot of mileage on my hiking footwear. I just can't afford to have this happen again. Really disappointed by the product durability and the bare minimum customer service I received. Trying t upload a picture to show the area falling apart, but this is my third time trying and the site won't upload my image and just resets my review.

I have to admit the pair of shoes I ordered did not match up with the first pair I ordered at all. Very dissatisfied. The second pair have already broke down and feel like they have very little support now.I'm very disappointed with the product for the money I spent. My first pair was great had no complaints at all. But the replacement pair is just plain horrible.

I have quite a few issues with my feet due to my long years in law enforcement. Some days walking can be a chore until I can knock the rust off and get the juices flowing. With that being said.. I've found no justification to wear these over my previous array of footwear in my search for comfort. The main reason I rarely wear them is that the laces constantly come untied. I assume it's due to the material but even a double knot will come undone. That could be a serious issue when perusing someone.

To narrow in toe box to the point where it got painful. Thought it would stretch out. But unfortunately, they didn't. Went past the 30 days and now I can't return them. Expensive shoes not gonna where them again..

These are the longest shoes I've ever seen in my size. They look like these ridiculous clown shoes. They seem to fit ok-ish on the inside. But why the extra length? Way too goofy to wear. For perspective, the Clifton 8's are probably my favorite sneaker ever. Fit, feel, style just perfect for walking around in all day. This hiker however feels like it was made by a different company altogether. As firm as all the other hiking shoes out there (which I don't enjoy) and have I mentioned it looks like you're standing on a couple Carnival cruise liners?

On paper, these sound perfect for hiking and other outdoor adventures. They are well-made and seem durable with grippy insoles. However, I wore these once and they were way too small. I've had other Hokas in the same size that fit great. These really hurt my feet. Sad that I waited past the 30-day return window to wear them for several hours outdoors.

Not for serious trail running/hiking. As compared to my La Sportivas, the waterproofing is not great and something about the design of the tongue/collar or the mesh parts of the shoes mean they constantly fill up with dirt. They look great and are okay for walking, though!

A bit narrow, wish Hoka made a wide, but I must suffer from underpronation. These shoes wore terribly to the outside, bilaterally, within 3 weeks. No other shoe I have owned has worn that drastically, that quickly. Otherwise, they are great - I like the colors, the look (not the usual curved running shoe look), and very comfortable.

hated how these feel. Personal preference. Don't like the heel cushion that protrudes out the back, felt like big blisters waiting to happen and unnecessary. 1 extra star because they still look cool. Ended up exchanging for goretex challengers. Love those, 5 stars and then some.
