Because I couldn't get the color I wanted at the time, I ordered a men's shoe in a 9 wide vs women's 9 1/2 wide. Turned out just right. Seemed as if the sole rounded up sides when I first put them on, however, after wearing a couple times I no longer notice that. My feet at 70+ are very troublesome, and one still has a great toe bunion. I counter this with a 1x2 inch strip of firm foam with a divot cut in the center to relive pressure on the bunion. I tape it over the bunion with simple scotch tape. This protects the bunion and relieves pain. This may sound hokey, but relief I get is all that matters. Pad stays in place and the wonderful comfort of the shoe is a dream.

An Xmas gift for my son. He tried them on and never took them off. He already had another HOKA sneakier but he loved the ones I gave him.

I bought these Clifton 8 tennis shoes for my husband, size 11.5. Bought the 12 too, but too big, so going back. I wasn't sure if he would like the shoes, as they have excellent support and wasn't sure if he would find them comfortable. He has a bone spur on one of his heels, so I didn't know if they would rub and irritate him. To my surprise, he found them instantly comfortable and he LOVES them. We walk a lot on paved sidewalks and streets, and he couldn't wait to wear them! Great purchase. For those that have feet issues, I have had a pair of HOKA's for 2+ years, and they are still in excellent condition and are very comfortable. I broke my foot and the podiatrist told me I had to wear ONLY shoes that had really good support and didn't bend in the front part of the shoe. I brought him my HOKA's, and he approved 100% and said he will now recommend them to other patients. Although these shoes might be more expensive than you might be used to, your feet are worth it! I would like to know if HOKA's can be machine washed?

Ive had multiple previous versions of the Clifton. I was hesitant to buy these based on a few bad reviews. Glad I bought them anyway. They are my favorite pair yet. I tend to not untie and tie my shoes I just slip them on. These work incredibly well for that. I have high arches to I require a neutral cushion shoe. I generalLy run in these, sometimes walk. Great for both. Size up if in between. I wear a 12 in some shoes but got a 13 in these.

Hokas are great running shoes for my whole family. The Clifton's have made a difference in my teenagers who run for sport. I wear them because they are literally the only shoe I can walk in without pain in my foot (2nd toe metatarsalgia & bunions). I recommend them as a health professional as well!!

Very good shoe. Lightweight but sturdy

It took a few days before I got used to walking with them. I find them very comfortable and will mention it to my brother.

I wear these shoes every day. The back of the shoe on my current pair has separated after only three weeks of wearing them. I have never had a problem before. I love these shoes.
