Great fit. Lots of room in the toe box when I ordered a 1/2 size up and got the wide version. Outstanding arch support: I didn't need to add an aftermarket insole to support my flat feet. I'm surprised at how well ventilated they are. My feet usually get really hot in any shoes but I haven't had any issue with these. My podiatrist recommended Hoka and I see why. I preferred these over the Hoka Bondi 8 - which I also ordered and then returned - though both were good shoes. For the record I'm 6'3", 250 lbs, and have collapsed arches and bunions making my feed much wider at the base of the toes than they used to be.

These were purchased as a gift and he absolutely loved them. He has “happy” feet and legs now. Was recommended by the pediatrist as the best shoe for him!

12.5 Wide/EE - Podiatrist recommended Hokas for my flat feet and capsulitis. These fit my wide feet like a dream (ordered 1/2 size up). I forget that I am wearing them and my capsulitis symptoms disappeared. No aftermarket insoles or orthotics needed, which is like an $85 discount over other running shoes. Great ventilation. Tons and tons of cushioning, but less than the Bondi - which I also ordered to try but didn’t like as much as these. For reference, I’m 6’3”, 250 lbs, flat feet and bunions/gout/arthritis. Regular width Hokas are way too narrow for for me. Chunky style and branding are slight drawbacks, but are insignificant when compared to the fit and support.

The fit was fantastic, the color choices could be better.

Most comfortable shoe ever. Just wish they looked cooler.

I have increased the amount of time and distance I go on the gym track and have found I've been pounding my feet in my Asics. I tend to come down hard on my heels, and after reading good things about the Hoka decided to try them. Amazing shoes, feather light with the best cushion I've ever experienced, especially the heel.
