comfortable fil true to size

The most comfortable shoes ever!

Just recently got in to running and was having a lot of foot pain. I bought a pair of these and it's enabled me to run with a lot less pain. My time and distance has improved. Can't wait to try their hiking shoes and the sandals.

These shoes have become my husband's favorite Hoka's but they don't carry all the fun colors in wides. Please create more colorful choices in the wides and the all black for him to wear to work with dress pants when he's going to be walking around a lot. Would love to see the bright yellow ones in wides as those would be great for running!

Shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. Great shoes for my flat feet using my inserts.

Have had just one 30K run in these and wa surprised that it felt so hard. not my usually Hoka experience. Perhaps it will soften up with further runs. Generally an excellent shoe though. And even the hardness is relative compared to my previous Hokas such as the Mach 4.

The performance and comfort level of this shoe has won me over. I bought my first pair a few years ago and haven't looked back. I walk approx 10 miles a day (hospital worker) and needed something that can put on the miles while also supporting my feet. They might not be the most attractive shoe out there, but hands down beat their competitors with comfort. When you know, you know!

This is an amazingly comfortable shoe. I love it. I would love to see it in a red, or red multicolor. However I'd but this again same style and all.

I wear these to work in and I walk and stand all day. They are so comfortable

I started on the Clifton 5/6 and really loved that shoe, it basically carried me into a love for distance running. I run about 50 miles a week when I'm healthy, 60% road and 40% trail and the Clifton 8 is my primary road shoe right now. The midsole is wonderful per usual, especially for bigger guys like me trying to do a small man's sport (I am 6'3, 215lbs). I was in a racing flat before this and it caused me to develop posterior tibial tendinitis. Switching to this shoe + PT has gotten me back to the day-in-day out mileage I'm used to. As far as reasons to buy the 8 from past models: the upper is so so so wicked good. It seems like they took the upper from the Clifton Edge(a shoe that also hurt me, but I loved the breathable mesh upper) and put it on the classic midsole. It's super breathable, breaks in wonderfully around the foot, allows for a very good lace-lockdown after a few wears, and most importantly allows your toes to splay out on impact. I also appreciate the all-white and all-black colorways. This shoe will always be in my rotation.

I use the shoe indoors, but have used many other Hoka models on the road too. I love them all.

Had issue with the shoes but exchanged it with wide size. It fits perfectly.

Helped a ton with foot pain

This was my 1st pair of shoes from Hoka and I have been converted. I tossed my old shoes and will never wear another brand of shoe again! I bought my wife a pair, she said: "they feel like running on clouds". I am purchasing my second pair and sandals ASAP! I am telling everyone I know about these shoes, they're life changing! I started running as my 2021 New Years Resolution and didn't really love it. I had some old tennis shoes I logged about a mile a day in and usually had some kind of leg pain or knee pain. As I started running more I finally bought a pair of Hoka One One Clifton 8's in May and after 3 days of using them the pain immediately stopped and I could run even in the street with no pain. I'm now at 400 miles in them, running between 3-10 miles a day and when I quit running it's because of my mind and never my feet. I don't see why I'll ever wear another pair.

Ordered the white Cliftons for son, which he picked out and loved them! Size, quality, & fit were fantastic!

I'm a big guy and these are the best Hokas so far.
