Huge Bondi Fan so after wearing my last pair of Bondi 7 out I decided to try the Bondi X after about 10 days Between hiking and running and everyday use. 2 issues arrised 1. even with the heel locked tight still caused slight tendon soarness in back of heel but not bad enough to exchange shoes. 2. After about a week I started to develope lower back pain and would get worse each day. So exchanged the shoes for new pair of Bondi.

These shoes were Giant sized. I’ve worn Homs Bondi for a couple years and they always fit great. These were an inch longer than my other Bondis. I don’t know if they were mismatched or what but both pairs were the same. I was quite disappointed.

I found these to run larger than my typical Bondi size. These shoes were also just not quite as comfortable or secure on my feet/ankle as they typical Bondi fit or even the Clifton. I have introduced many people to Hoka but do not recommend this versio .

Tried these for about 30 miles and didn't experience much difference in energy return. I did gain sore feet the next mornings after using. Went back to the regular Bondi and felt great.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever purchased. Only issue is the colors aren't as vibrant as they appear online.

Great ride but the tongue is too short. The laces cut into the top of my feet on the long run. Bummer!!!

They look great and are light but a little more stiff than prior Bondi's and not a huge fan of the how the younger feels. Its shorter on the foot.

I didn't know what to expect from this shoe. It seemed like a dream come true because it combined the hard carbon plate that gives runners a box spring ride that propels you forward to dramatically increase your time abd speed. Simultaneously, the shoe maintained the Bondi soft cloud-like cushion that we Hoka fans love. My first week(s) running with this shoe revealed that it achieved the objective of combining the tradition of Bondi cloud softness with the hard speed offered by the carbon plate. As a result I decided to use the show for my Marathon run. Fingers crossed it will give me both of things for the full 26 mile marathon ride! Thank you Hoka!

I'm a triathlete who is focused on marathon training. Although I'm a huge fan of Hoka, I 'm not overly impressed with Bondi X because of the low cushioning. As a result, I ended up sending them back for a full refund. I'm comparing the Bondi X with Nike's Alpha Fly Next %, I chose Next % because cushioning is well balanced for my needs.

I was under the impression that this would be softer than the Bondi, but for me this was a rock. As a 220lb midfoot runner, I found this to be very uncomfortable. Its possible I got a bad pair but for me these do not compete with the originals at all.

I bought men's shoes for the extra room and toes are cramped. My feet are not wide and I weigh 135, length is right but not comfortable at all for me.

Fit feels off, have had 8 pairs or Hokas and this is the first one I have been unsatisfied with. Ran in them once and feel is off, as well as ride and had discomfort 1 mile into the run and had to switch back to my Cliftons.

Got these shoes when they first came out. Fantastic for my knees, however outer side of out sole significantly worn down after three walks. I am afraid to use them again due to very poor outer wear. A shoe at this price should have much better durability. Too bad because otherwise this is a wonderful shoe.

I bought this shoe at my orthopedic surgeon's advice to help with arthritis pain in my left foot. The pain is better, but the shoes squeak so loudly that it can be heard by whoever I'm talking to on my phone if I walk. I've never had a shoe squeak this loud.

Wish I could have tried this first as it just doesn't fit my foot and running feels cumbersome in this shoe. Not exactly sure why, but every step I notice the shoe and have had foot pain I never had with other shoes.

Let me begin by saying I love the look and color of this shoe (I purchased the fog colorway). I really wanted to like these shoes and waited until I ran 150+ miles in them before coming to any conclusions regarding their performance. Unfortunately, I've been disappointed with the performance. Despite the carbon plate (for which you pay a premium), these shoes are not fast. Compared to runs in another max cushion shoe (with no carbon plate) that I use in my rotation, I find my mile times are consistently 10-15 seconds higher when running in the Bondi x. In addition, given the weight and shape of the shoe, they start to feel heavy and clunky as the miles add up on long runs . The carbon plate also reduces the softness of the shoes, so I cannot even say they are good on slower recovery runs.

Everyday from 1 to 4 hours quick pace on pavement, not enough padding for the heel, sore feet. Hard to believe shoes cost me over $ 230.00. The shoe laces are so cheap ( $.10 cheap) don't hold well .
