I like the look of the shoe and the overall ride. I do feel that the 7's were a bit plusher when striking the road than the X. Both are very hot on the feet after 2 miles but that is a tradeoff for the cushion. Very good shoe overall. The X does feel a bit bigger on my foot than the 7.

The shoe is great. I didn't like that there weren't more color options. They are odd looking but the heal is awesome takes most of the impact off the heal. I have dealt with Plantarfacisitis in the past but this shoe helps a great deal

I really like this shoe. I have about 100 miles on the pair, and so far they have been great. As others have mentioned, I thought the tongue was short but it really isn't an issue. I also thought the complaints about it picking up rocks were kind of strange, but now I understand. It is really annoying, hot glue filled the void. If I have one complaint, it is the same for every pair of Hoka's I have owned, the running surface wears out long before the shoe. Need more wide sizes

Good cushion and stable platform. I only wish the provided insole had more cushion.

I've ran in these shoes twice now. One run was 26.2 and the other was 22.5. I saw some reviews from other people saying they wear these to work or for walking. They are meant for running! I like them. They aren't my favorite but I like them.

I hated to return these but had to. The underfoot feel is great, plush bondi feel with added spring from the carbon plate make a great combination. I read other reviews about the tongue and thought it couldn't be that big of a deal but it is. I tried tying them every way I could think of to keep from having discomfort across the top of my foot. The only way to avoid it was to not use the top two sets of eyelets which kept me from snugging my foot securely making my heels slide and causing instability in general. Don't understand how Hoka could have designed such a great shoe and totally drop the ball on this aspect. They could have just left the tongue alone instead of using a non-padded ,short piece of plastic.

good choice, white color is a problem because they get dirty quickly. maybe the option of more colors would be a good idea

Its ok, but I was expecting more cushioning

I wanted them to work for me so much. I love the comfort of the shoes and I love the carbon plate. But I did not love the design, and I need wide sizing. (honestly, I need extra wide sizing). I was hoping if I bought men's it would be wide enough, but no luck. Hopefully they expand the size (and color) options soon!

The Bindi 6 was the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. Tried the 7 and returned it. In chat I was told the Bondi 10 was close. Got it in. 12 and my toe touched. Thankfully you have the best return policy I've ever used so I got size 12.5 and it fit. Still not as comfortable as the Bondi 6 though. I don't like the tongue spdesign on the ten. Brig back the Bondi 6

Comfortable but big and clunky, good "walking around" shoes, not for running

Have had several other Bondi models as running shoes, and still keep them around as knock about shoes. Putting them side by side with the Bondi Xs, the Xs look oversized. Thought I had bought too big a size. But they feel OK. Haven't really run in them yet, but trying them for walking so far so goid.

I have worn Bondi shoes for many years. Having run in the new shoe for about a month it is a small improvement. For long training runs I still use my Nike shoe. I have not yet tried the Hoka answer to the Nike pink marathon shoe. I went over a year and a half without running in that shoe since there were no half or full marathons .

I've got a pair of the Rocket X and the rocker in those is very noticeable. I guess I expected the same with that rocker being in a Bondi. I haven't run enough in them to really know yet but I don't feel much difference between these and my Bondi 7s. They may feel a little lighter but I don't feel that distinct rocker like I do in the Rocket X. Still, another great shoe and I love the Bondi line (still think the 5s were the best for me) and am very happy with the feel and fit of these.

GREAT RUNNING SHOE FOR DAILY LONG DISTANCE RUNS I NEEDED

I like the Hoka Bondi 7 and 8 but the Bondi X s ok...dot it be more cushion.

I bought these shoes when these first came out. I put only 70 miles on them before making this review. I thought the toe box would give after a month but they do not at all. In the end, my toes felt jammed (which never happened on older models of Hokas) and cause both my archs to feel pain and discomfort.

I'm a hard striker. I use the product for every day short run. Mid shoe cushion and the heel cushion is very comfortable. Not enough cushion for the ball of the foot and forward. I will stay with the Bondi 8 as it provides the spring back and great cushion throughout the whole shoe.

Not as comfortable as I thought it would be. I like the design, but I think my old Clifton was lot more comfortable.

New style recommended from Hoka company, but kind of clunky and not as comfortable

I have had 3 pairs of the Bondi 7's I was going to get the Bondi SR or the Bondi 8 next time. The reason I didn't get the SR this time is they were on back order. I got the X instead which I should have researched more because they aren't even close to the 7's on comfort
