I am used to running exclusively in brooks ghost but wanted to give the hokas a try. Here are the pros: styling is nice, and they are very lightweight and have a nice cushion. The cons: I have narrow feet and these shoes were extremely narrow, they are structured on the outside which actually caused foot pain after running, I would not describe these as a neutral shoe, they def have a lot of side to side stability/structure which seems silly and caused pain for me. I really wanted to love these shoes and have given them their fair try, (several runs short and long) but bc of these issues they will be walking or errands shoes only. The sizing runs good, get your actual size don't size up, but keep in mind the shoes are extremely narrow with the stability.

I bought these shoes to replace my super old Nike Frees for walking and running. They're fairly lightweight and provide significantly more cushion and support. I like the bright orange color that I bought but overall, if you're not looking for a shoe that gets dirty super easy, the available colors make it hard. I also wouldn't say this is the most stylish shoe I've ever seen but it does the job. I would also probably size down in futureI only realized how much room around the toe there is after I went on a run.

Great cushioning, feels like walking on a cloud, but for some reason as soon as I started using them for running, 2 miles, I injured my knee, something some people told me have experienced. I started running yesterday again, but not with the HOKA.

After weeks researching for work sneakers, I decided for the Hoka brand, a top choice among nurses. I love the style; they are lightweight and feel true to size, but after 3-4 hours working my feet start to hurt. They are great for everyday activities but not for 10-12 hours shift on your feet.

The shoe runs wide, but overall very comfortable and gives the support/balance needed.

I have very sensitive skin and although the shoes fit perfectly both my small toes rub on the sides of the shoe. That area of the shoe feels very rough.

I’m downright confused by these shoes. I wear a medium width always, even in other Hoka styles. I first ordered this in the same width, and it felt like the middle of the shoe was cutting into my foot on the sides. So I ordered a wide instead, and it still feels so narrow in the middle that my foot is pushing out over the sides. They feel so cushiony otherwise, and I’m bummed they seem to fit so weird. They’ll have to be returned because the narrow middle is so uncomfortable, even in a wide! I don’t know how others are wearing these without discomfort in the weirdly narrow area under the arch.

I have always work Brooks Glycerin and decided it was time to branch out and try something new. I initially had to exchange a size 7.5 (my typical size) for a 7. Theses sneakers run big. Unfortunately I found these shoes to be too wide in the tow box and too cushioned for running. I experienced a lot of foot pain after running or walking in these after 1 week. In the end, went back to Brooks. Unfortunately Hoka didn't work out.

I found my Hokas very comfortable the first few times I wore them, but unfortunately now they are giving me blisters in odd places on my left foot and I can't wear them anymore.

I’ve bought various styles of Hoka the last 10 years. The sizing is inconsistent in the same style as is the comfort, for example one shoe feels like it has less cushion than the other or if changing color the size is different. For women’s sneakers the colors are not that appealing. This is very frustrating as these sneakers are well made and full of support.

As others mentioned, there's a gap between the insole and the shoe, creating an uncomfortable area for my low arch foot.

These shoes (Hoka Clifton 8) seem long and narrow to me. I had to send the first pair back for a half size smaller, even though I ordered the same size as my last pair of Hokas. The size smaller is still roomy in the length, but it feels narrower than usual. Weird fit.

I love Hokas, but this time my shoes squeak loudly when I walk. They did this from the very beginning. I didn't return because I needed them so bad. I waited too late to order new ones and I got plantar fasciitis. I will order again and I wont wait this time.

I love the cushion they offer but they lack structure. My foot tends to slide to the outside edge. I don't have this problem with my hiking boots so I'm guessing this material does not offer as much stability. In the future I will look for a fabric with more support

This is my fourth pair of Hoka Clifton. I had a Clifton 7. And this is my third Clifton 8. All female size 9, regular width. While the others fit me well and are great daily training shoes, this last one for some reason is not as comfortable. On the inner side of the right shoe, there seems to be a flap that hits the surface of my foot, just around the area before the big toe. It is annoying and after a few kilometers translates to some pain.

I LOVE the cushion of Hokas in general, but these Cliftons, which are supposed to be a "neutral" fit, have a surprisingly firm arch support in them. I find it too intense and it rubs my arches uncomfortably. I have an average width foot, and otherwise these fit well, but after a few minutes of wear, I can really feel the rigid inside arch pressing into my foot and it gives me pain. I've tried adjusting the laces different ways to see if that would ease up the pressure, but nothing works. Everyone's feet are shaped differently, so this may not be an issue for some people. But I need a true neutral fit and, sadly, these don't do it for me.

The size and fit was ok, just not enough support for me. I’ll stick with the Bondi 7. I returned the item.

Supportive shoe, however the insole rubbed the inside of my foot constantly. Returning. But willing to try another pair.

They shipped these to me 4/12 and since it’s sandal season I have only worn these in the gym, on the treadmill. They have already worn holes on the heals inside both shoes and then rubbed a blister on my heal. The shoes were great until this happened.

They are very comfy and look good. No support and start falling apart after a few months. This is my second pair and for both pairs, the heel cushion has failed and came apart.

I ordered up a 1/2 size and wide because I read the reviews but the arch is in a goofy place and I’m going to have to exchange them. They’re very nice looking and supportive otherwise, but the fit is way off.

I have always worn a size 8 in the Hoka Clifton, but this new one (Clifton 8) is a half size larger. I returned them and got the 7.5 and it fits great.
