My first pair of Hokas was the speedgoat 4 which fit true to my usual size (8.5) and I figured these would be the same. They are not and run about a size too large. Other than that they were very lightweight and comfortable.

I followed Hoka's website guidance on fit and it was too narrow. Very disappointed, as the cushion and other features on the shoe, including styling, are good.

Very comfortable but I am a little disappointed. The reports were that they run narrow so I got a wide, but they’re a little too wide. I already took them back once bc the size I normally get was too big.

I run on paved roads and these have so much cushion I think they are protecting my knee and hips joints. They seem to be stretching out quite a bit so I might have been better off with a half size smaller

I normally wear a size 6 in Nikes but a 5 and a half was much better but they were still a little to wide for me somewhat sloppy on width and could have had a little more support in the arch.

I liked my Clifton 6 so as they were ending their lifespan I decided to but move on up to the 8. Well, the color choices weren't my faves, but it's always more about comfort than cute. I lack any ankle movement in my right ankle so when I find shoes that work, I stick with them. These are on the "orthopedic" list but I was dismayed to find the tab at the heel missing because that's SO needed to help pull the shoe over the heel. As I have no toe point, putting on any shoe is always a bit daunting. The extended thing added to the heel helps, but arthritic fingers prefer the generous tab you had before. Regardless, I still love the Clifton.

The 8.5's in the Clifton 8's are far too big.. I have the Clifton 7's in an 8.5 and they're perfect so maybe it's a production line error.. hope they fix this sizing problem soon

I was really excited to try this brand, but they fit at LEAST a full size too big and are very large in the toe box. I have narrow feet and these had to be returned. I’d recommend ordering a full to half size smaller than what one normally wears.

Only wore once on a 2 mile walk mainly on cement sidewalk. Was satisfied so far as my knees and hips didn’t pain me. I am a senior senior so need that added cushioning in the Hokas.

I love these shoes. They're truly one of the best tennis shoes I've worn but I should've ordered an 8.5 instead of my normal size 9. My feet slide a bit and make a noise when walking because they're slightly too big. Unfortunately I didn't realize they were too big until after I walked in them, so now I'm stuck with them. They are supportive, lightweight and comfortable but run half a size big.

I definitely recommend going a whole size up. I’m usually a 8.5 but my toes were touching the the top without socks so I knew it wouldn’t work out. I’m exchanging for a 9.5.

The length is good (I normally wear 11.5 but fit into an 11 in these shoes), but the shoe is narrower in the toe box than my Clifton 6’s and does not provide as much cushioning or arch support.

I usually wear a size 11.5 but can comfortably wear 11 in this shoe. The width in the toe box feels a bit narrower than my Clifton 6. There is not quite enough arch support, so my left ankle turns in a bit; I may need to add an orthotic arch support on that size.
Overall, I am satisfied with this shoe. I appreciate the extra cushioning.
