I have a few pairs of women's Hoka running shoes, all size 9.5, however I had to get a size 9 in the Clifton 8. So far they feel good, have not had any issues with stiffness (which is about half the time I purchase Hokas)

This Clifton 8 was a second try after returning the Bondi 7 which was too large and clunky on my feet. Clifton 8 was a better fit for me because it was a bit slimmer style with just a medium amount of cushioning rather than the extreme cushioning in Bondi 7. It still had the generous toe box, and I loved the colors. It also had the right amount of cushion for me. Had trouble with the long pull-on horn sticking up from back of heel. It would catch on my pants, and I thought it to be very unattractive looking. I'm a senior, a walker not a runner, with joint issues. Normal size 8M, and Clifton 8 fit fine in 8M.

Love the shoes. They fit perfectly. Hate the shipping. Can't believe it took over two weeks to get the shoes here. They were not here in time for my event so probably will not order online again. Will find a store nearby that sells the shoe

Super comfortable once it's broken in. I stand all day for work and I found that my knees hurt much less through a long shift with these shoes.

Went a size up per the website's recommendation, I was also planning to add thick memory foam insoles. They worked perfectly in a half size up, not too tight on the bunion. Feel comfortable enough to wear, though not revolutionary. Comfortable and mildly supportive, but without my added insoles they would be mediocre in my opinion. I am a retail worker on my feet with no breaks for 50+ hours a week and I need some serious support.. I don't feel that these give me as much as I'd like, but they do give some. 4 stars overall, though not sure if I'd spend that money again.

I have worn Hoka for years. Still great for comfort but the past 2 shoes I have had have worn on the bottom very quickly.

I walk a lot in my yard and the aqua colored shoe shows dirt very easily. Even after purchasing and using sneaker cleaner, the material doesn't look perfectly clean. Other than that, I love the shoe. The fit is good and it is very comfortable.

This is my 5th pair of Hokas. I'm a tad disappointed in this pair as they are a little looser fitting than my others of the same style. I still swear by them though as I wear them for work. I am walking on concrete 5-8 miles a day for 9 hours and no foot pain, knee pain or hip pain anymore!

Hoka shoes tend to run bigger than the other running shoe brands that I wear, but I also wanted a pair of shoes for winter walking that would work with thicker socks so I ordered my normal run shoe size and I think it will be perfect for that. Otherwise, order true to your normal shoe size. The cushion in the Clifton 8's is amazing and I can't wait to do more walking in them. I run but I like the Clifton shoe for my daily afternoon walk.

Shoes did provide good cushion, and the heel part wasn't as big as the pictures made them out to be, which was good. The shoes looked better in real life. They provided support but not as much as I would've liked for my heels. I'm fine with this purchase, but for the price, I'll continue to explore other brands.

I like these shoes but when I tried them on they felt too big. I wear Hokas for exercise and have the Clifton 6 and Clifton 7. The 7 feels snug but okay but I had to rerun the Clifton 8 Hokas. Will order a different style next time but I swear by the brand!

I had Clifton 6 and love them. Felt like the perfect design for me. This 8 version feels more narrow in the toe box. Phooey. That is certainly disappointing - but not bad enough to return the shoes. I bought these full price because I was afraid the wide version would sell out if I waited until the shoes went on sale. At full price I am going to knock off a star because these are very expensive shoes! At full price I really wanted that fuller rounder toe box, but I can live with these. There aren't very many choices in shoe world for wide shoes - and these fit my foot well enough. Things I like about these shoes very much: 1) The mesh upper. It feels light, comfortable and flexible. 2) This shoe is available in a wide. Wish more shoe makers would acknowledge wide feet! 3) The cushion, these are nice shoes for running on road or asphalt. They aren't trail shoes per se, but they perform well enough for running on an unpaved pathway of dirt or gravel. Wouldn't do so well on wet grass or mud. . . 4) The color. I never buy gear based on color, but it's a fun aside that these are pretty Things I didn't like 1) I wish the drop were closer to zero 2) wish they had retained the rounder fuller toe box 3) wish the price was closer to $100, or $110 - $130 is steep for one pair of shoes that won't last any longer than any other pair. You're paying for the brand name, fit and cushion, not durability. I average 40k a week and use these shoes on my mid-length (5 to 10K) runs on road, and road/trail mixture. I don't use them for casual use. But you could - because they're so cute.

I'm a treadmill runner and typically run 3 miles a day five days a week before work. When I switched to HOKA, I bought the Clifton 7s and they were fantastic! Fit great and performed just as well! The cushion was a wonderful cloud for my bad knee and I had next to zero issues with it since switching to the Clifton 7. Now that I have more than enough miles on the 7's I ordered the 8's to refresh my shoes and had to immediately return them as my right foot felt like it was swimming in the shoe. Way too big for some odd reason. I did an even exchange and the replacement pair fit properly. After a few weeks of running in the 8's, I have to say I still like the 7's better in regards to fit. I'm not sure what changes were made to the 8's but they don't feel the same. The cushion however is still great for my knee though! :)

I walk 4+ miles 6 times a week. These shoes provide cushion like walking in thick slippers. They do seem a tad too big as my heel does not feel secured but it doesn't effect my pace or stride.

This is my third pair of Hoka Cliftons, and they run considerably smaller that earlier models. Had I known, I would have ordered a half-size larger. Hokas are still the best running shoes for serious runners and folks with foot problems, but the company should warn consumers when updates change sizing.

Liking this shoes. I just got them, so it's hard to tell how they will wear, but they feel very true to size. They're as stylish as Hokas can be (in my opinion), and definitely feel like they have good cushion (which is what I was looking for).
