I have gotten many compliments on the look of the shoe. I wear the all day at work in a retail setting, they are very comfortable but I wish they had a little more support

I really like these shoes. I love the arc heel that lets me slip into these shoes so gently. The shoe is very nicely cushioned, too. Unfortunately, for me, my achilles tendonitis does not like these shoes. After wearing them off and on in the house for a couple of hours at a time with my orthotics, I find some strain in my calf and a some increased pain in my heel. I have been wearing the GDefy Mighty Walker, which has a higher heel drop and not the rocker sole, which is probably why these aren't working for me. I'm returning for now, but will reorder when my feet are ready to cooperate!

I use these for my half marathon training. They are some of the best shoes that I have tried! I just wish they would be available in more colors.

I have been spoiled by the Bondi 7. The Clifton 8 got such good reviews, I thought I'd try a different model. After wearing the Bondi 7, which feel like pillows tied to my feet, the Clifton 8 model feels like a stiffer sole. As a person who runs around a medical clinic all day, I've decided these won't make my feet and knees feel as relaxed and tingle-free at the end of the day. Had to return. Nice looking shoe, though.

I was very upset with the changes HOKA made btwn the Bondi 6 and Bondi 7 (Bondi 6 was my goto shoe after they discontinued the stinson lite shoe) - but this is as close as you can get to the Bondi 6 in the HOKA lineup. The Clifton 8 seems "lower" in terms of cushion height, but the cushioning is still quite good. It's a bit deceiving as it's SO much lighter than the Bondi 6 was, at first I was worried it make the shoe feel cheap, but after wearing, I think the shoe is quite good quality and the weight belies the cushion ability of the shoe. I miss the Bondi 6 but am happy with this one! HOKA, stop changing a good thing and leave the shoes alone that we love! LOL

This shoe is way too narrow in the toe box. I've never had to wear a wide (D) shoe in my entire life, but I had to in this one because it was cramping my pinky toes! Otherwise this shoe is awesome. I wouldn't mind ordering a wide except now I want other hokas, and most of the wide colors suck (and some don't come in wide at all). I shouldn't even be having this problem, I'm so confused. And the fit finder was also off.

I've been wearing Bondi for a couple of years and decided to try the Clifton. They were much narrower, including in the toe box. I really like a wide toe box, so am returning and going back to the Bondi. Much lighter weight than the Bondi, which I think would be great!

the fit was right, as in true to size for me, but unfortunately they are not the end all be all of comfort shoes. I actually got them for work -- I stand on my feet for 10-11 hours a day and was looking for something really cush....don't get me wrong, I am keeping them, even though they came with the 30 day try on period, which is AWESOME, but my search is still on for that perfect pair.

I'm much happier with the larger size. The toe box was too snug and wore on my feet. I love the colors of this one and receive compliments. I went all day for my 10 hour shift, entirely on my feet. No chance to sit down at all.

I have Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome which is a non correctable neuropathy in both feet. These shoes seem to have the most cushioning on the bottom of my foot.

Although I haven't used this shoe to walk outdoors in, I know it would be really comfortable. I have used them strictly indoors, on my elliptical, so my toes get a little numb, but I'm pretty sure that's an elliptical thing, and not because of the shoe. If HOKA made a shoe designed for elliptical machines, that would be a dream come true! (Maybe I should dream bigger?)

I'm in the medical field, so I'm on my feet constantly. I usually wear Nike or Sketchers and wear them for years and years at a time (until I get a hole in them or they're just unusable). My current work shoe is a pair of Nikes that I've had for just over 2 years; while I love those shoes, I've noticed I've been having heel pain recently. Maybe it's because I'm getting older or maybe it's because I'm wearing sandals or barefoot when I'm not working, but either way I decided to try Hoka after getting some rave reviews from other coworkers who purchased them. While I haven't worn these shoes to work yet, I've been wearing them around the house and I can already tell a dramatic comfort difference from my Nikes. I feel like I'm walking on a cushion, but it doesn't feel unstable at all! I should also mention I have pretty long toes and wide feet (but I'm fine with the medium width) and I usually fit in a size 10 or 11 womens shoe; the size 11 in these Hokas is perfect for me. I debated getting a pair of Hokas or On Cloud, and ended up choosing Hoka since I read a lot of reviews about the On Clouds being a little narrow. I'm not one to spend a ton of $$ on material things, but because I'm on my feet all day, I wanted to make an investment in my work shoes. I highly recommend these shoes if you have a job where you're on your feet all day!

Probably the most expensive shoes I have ever bought but really understand you get what you pay for!! Very supportive shoe, I have wide, flat feet but with high instep so find it hard to find sneakers with enough material to cover my foot without feeling like they are squashed into the shoe which then bulges at the laces. This shoe just about fit instep.. had to use low profile orthotic insert. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ARE VERY NOISY, SQUEAKY! I don't understand why, so I wont be a steathy ninja.. but I still feel like a have a spring in my step.. we will see how these shoes are for Plantar Fasciitis. Fingers crossed these are an answer to a prayer!

They felt comfortable. Nice cushion base. I prefer subtle colors instead of the bright sneakers so I’m happy with the look of them. Not sure about support yet since I only just tried them on and I found them to be really big. I checked to see if they sent mens by mistake. I’m returning and I’m going to try a half size down. 9 1/2. I was hesitant about going a full size.

Size and fit seem to be true to size for me 7M. I teach many different formats of Fitness classes. Everything from Dance to Pilates. These shoes are great for muscle classes but are a little too squishy i.e. unstable laterally for dance. They are very comfortable.

I use these to exercise/workout in. I had a size 8 but there was a defect in the heel on L side. So I returned them. They didn't have my size so I went down a 1/2 size in different color.
Wow!! Love these sneakers so far. My feet feel great, shins and knees are better. The muscles that should ache finally do. Only gave 4 stars because of newness.

I bought the Clifton 8 and the Arahi 5 to see which I liked best, and after a couple of runs in both decided to keep the Arahi 5. The Clifton 8 slid a bit on my heel and laces that felt snug at the start of my run felt loose at the end. I really liked the appearance of this shoe, though, and it seems well made and lightweight.

Usual size 7.5C. Nike 7.5B or 7B. Bought 7B in Hoka for Clifton 8. Same as in Bondi 7. A little tight in the front. Colors as pictured. Dark blue top and teal bottom. Use for walking. Wish there more colors. Prefer brooks ghost 13 and 14 size 8B for fit.
