I have several pairs of Clifton 7s. They are the bomb. Theses are good but foot bed it different. Like the 7s better

I really like the shoes, but they were just a bit too narrow for my medium foot - I have never had to go to wide in other shoes. I normally buy brooks, but I wanted to try the HOKA, as I have heard such good things about them. I may go to a store so I can try on various models and see if there is one that will fit. Otherwise, I will go back to Brooks Ghost 14. I do love Zappos!

I have another pair of this Hoka style and it was comfortable. I tried the Bondi because I wanted a blue shoe and returned them because they rubbed on my ankle around top. I didn't want white, but Spring is coming and like the pastel accents on the sole.

Ordered an 8.5 had to reorder 8. Customer Service was amazing and they got me new ones out immediately!!

I like the Hoka One One, however they are one half size too large. I had ankle surgery on Jan. 9 of this year. Can’t deal with exchange right now. When I am more able, I will exchange for correct size. Thank you!

After receiving Hoka One One, I tried on and discovered that it was half size too large. I have intentions to exchange for 8.5 but the process will be delayed due to ankle surgery performed yesterday. Please bare with me, as I am not at home at the present. Thank you.

I have never paid this much for running shoes, but decided to upgrade as I increase my distance. These are the most comfortable running shoes I have owned so far. I have a skinny foot so there is some room, hence the 4 for overall. I like the color I chose as well.

Got my usual size 8 regular and they fit great, as I like a little extra room in toe area. I’m notorious for putting holes in the toes way too fast. My toes kinda curve upward weirdly so if you’re like me, size up and you will be so happy you did. I like trying new brands and had not tried Hoka yet. This was 3 months ago. I’m more of a walker who is recently trying to be a runner but I do walk or alternate walk with very short runs a solid 10 miles most days of the week. But I wouldn’t say I’m particularly hard on my shoes. I walk on concrete downtown 99% of the time. But the tread was like totally gone after less than 2 months, and you can feel the inside of the shoe through the sole in one part. I’m no expert but I’ve heard it’s not totally unusual for shoes to need replaced after 2-3 months depending on activity level. Anyway my Saucony had worn down so I got these and was in heaven the moment my feet were in them. I was SOLD. SO comfortable. They aren’t too heavy or super light. Kind of a perfect balance for an everyday walking/running shoe. And they were durable in the sense that I had put no holes in toe area - they had a good amount of lining on toe box, but the lining inside around ankle started to rip in a couple places toward the end. I will say I had to wear pretty good “blister proof” socks with them in the beginning versus a thinner running sock as I’ve never gotten so many blisters from breaking in running shoes. It was odd. And not a pretty sight. But it was also very warm out and my feet did sweat much more than usual anyways. Anyway, they fit really well on my regular width foot. Really recommend these shoes overall and looking forward to comparing the tread durability to my brooks glycerin 19 I recently replaced these with. I can say that these Hoka are more cushiony, comfortable, and truer to size. But the jury is still out on other specs!

I ordered these because the Clifton 8 and Clifton 7 kept being out of stock in the colors I wanted.I prefer the Clifton 7 but these are OK I probably won't return them but I dont think I will buy another pair- I definitely prefer Clifton 7.These feel a bit bigger but they seem to be comfortable and once I had them on for a little while I almost forgot they weren't Clifton 7.These feel bulkier to me but wearing them side by side with he Clifton 7 they weren't that different just a bit broader looking.I have very problematic feet and at this point if they are comfortable I will wear them as my choices are limited and the color is cute.I am still going to be on the lookout for Clifton 7 in a color I dont already have.I also prefer the the loop in the back of Clifton 7 this has an odd cowlick design which aesthetically I dont like.

They were tight at the toes and was uncomfortable

Very comfortable but horribly squeaky. Been wearing them for two weeks and the squeakiness is still embarrassing.

After Achilles tendon reattachment surgery, I am told only to wear Hoka One One for the support and rocker motion. The Bondi is the model highly recommended and I do have 2 pair of them, however I get bored and need some variety. The Clifton offers some different color options not available in the bondi. They're mostly very comfortable and somewhat stylish. I have a little bit of an issue at the top of my foot where the laces are tied in a bow where they're a tiny bit pushing against the top of my foot, so I have to make sure the beginning of the lacing is tight and the part by the bow is looser. It's a lot of adjusting. When I get it right, they're very comfortable. If I don't get it right, it hurts. I imagine most people do not have this issue and that the sneakers are extremely comfortable for anyone else!

Foot doctor told us to get these for my wife to help her arch in her foot so far she's enjoying them

I ordered a half size up. These are my first pair of the Clifton 8 due to it being more affordable than the other kinds. It's not as cushiony as the Bondi. But it gives support and doesn't make you feel like you're rocking. The shoes are much lighter than a Bondi. And fit is similar to a Gaviotta.

After trying multiple pairs of Hoka's and returning, I finally found a pair that fit the entire bill. My toes have plenty of room and the rubbing on my baby toe that can be painful, doesn't happen with these Clifton 8. I will order a second pair for future use!

this is my third pair of hoka running shoes...they always look huge when i put them on and then i just run in comfort

They are comfy and cute but HUGE. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. They also don't indent at the arch so they just look massive. I am exchanging them for a smaller size. Hopefully, they will look less ridiculous and not feel like I am going to trip over my toes.
